This is a great library. Many different resources . I love the displays of new books, local info and popular items. Lots of books in Spanish and a used book store. Also has great mountain views

I had placed a about 20 books on hold and upon sorting through I left the ones I was not interested in on the hold shelf, I was going to tell the staff but they were helping people at the time and were busy. After I checked out the books I wanted, I went back to the pile (which was nearly stacked), and it was gone. I saw a staff member going through them and was going to apologize for holding so many books, but she was the RUDEST person I have encountered in a long time-Scoffing and rolling her eyes and gave me attitude. It was very disappointing, especially when the disrespect was unwarranted. For reference to this was at 12:15 pm on 6/6

Great quiet place to relax and read or work on laptop. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable in various areas. If you need to look in certain subject areas. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Many resources are available for free through the website and in person.

I have recently rediscovered the audiobook opportunity offered at Pima County Public Library (Oro Valley branch). The selection of audiobooks is wide ranging and very large if quantity. The "Libby" audiobook on line system works amazingly well. I realized I look forward to listening to both non-fiction and fiction books and series. This entire catalog of audiobooks is free to use. And I find the streaming mode to my phone convenient both around the house and in the car.

They've got a great selection of books. My kids love going to the children's section and picking out a few each week. There's computers set up for use in both the kid's section and in the general library.

The storytime events were always nice to take kids to and meet other parents. I hope they bring them back soon now that covid transmission is starting to go down in our community.

My only complaint is the hours are limited and it makes it hard for people that work 9-5 to make time to go. I wish they would open on Saturdays.

Everyone just lovely! We were refugees from the Wheeler Taft branch. Our library had opened, than was closed. Everyone we dealt with at the Oro Valley branch were/are welcoming and kind! So nice. We are so grateful and relieved that we at least had them when our branch was closed again during these crazy Covid times. We're going back "home" to Wheeler Taft now... but a big shout out and a huge amount of thanks to the Oro Valley branch. We'll come visit real soon.

I personally volunteered here for 7 years and loved this library. They have summer reading programs for children, teens and adults. They have recently added a seed library where you can "check out" (you get to keep these seeds) seeds for your garden and you can donate back seeds to add to their collection. They also have passes to visit places around the area for free. This is a very child friendly library with a large area devoted to children and a large area devoted to teens. I enjoyed my many years here and I think you will enjoy this wonderful library too.
