The academic curriculum at Omega Alpha Academy is very good. They are so concerned with tutoring the students and getting them on the next level academically. It's a great thing to watch. They are willing to do anything possible to help your kids- as much tutoring as it takes. I love that and think it's very nice.

My child has gone to Omega Alpha Academy from her kindergarten year to this year in fourth grade. I love that the staff members there are very friendly and always willing to help her in class. Whenever I have requested a progress report on her academics and behavior, they are always available- even daily. They're great there!

Working and being a parent at Omega Alpha Academy has really shown how all staff members work together as a family to help students succeed in their educational career. When my son was transferred to Omega from the district he did not know how to read. Now that he is in 2nd grade he is reading a high level and even knows how to read in Spanish!! I really do recommend Omega Alpha Academy for your son/daughter to succeed in school and their future.

The teacher ans staff at Omega Alpha Academy do a great job keeping parents informed about the progress of their kids. I think it is important to let parents know if kids are struggling, so we can come up with a plan for improvement. I appreciate that quality from here.

I have had the enormous privilege of being part of the Omega Alpha Academy family since it opened its doors in the year 2001.

I have stated on many different occasions that my experience at OAA has been a continuous learning process.

At Omega Alpha Academy, we not only have the opportunity to grow as professionals, but we also have the opportunity to help our team of teachers to develop, improve, and implement different teaching methods to benefit our students.

During the time I have been at Omega, I have learned innumerable researched based instructional techniques and methodologies in order to help me improve the way I plan and deliver my lessons. The Instructional Protocol for Standard Delivery has been one of the most important acquisitions I have obtained. Some other techniques learned from the book Get Better Faster by Paul Bambrick Santoyo, in which OAA guides their philosophy, are: teacher radar, creating an exemplar to deliver your lesson, going granular and linear (when planning and delivering my lessons), formatively assessing, having the “it” factor, and practicing until you cannot get it wrong. These are just a few of the powerful teaching techniques I employ.

I can proudly say that my overall experience at Omega has been a remarkable learning process.

I have grandchildren that attend this school and I do hear positive things about the teachers only, not the principal! I would like to hear from the parents on their opinions of him. It's just that I keep getting negative vibes and I have concerns of my grandchildren's education.
