Wonderful place to hike. The river is flowing beautifully. Parking is a little tight, but there's plenty of parking on the street.
Coyotes are out and active especially around sunset.

Also remember to keep your furry friends leashed because of coyotes and because your dog can spook the horses and cause a rider to get bucked off. They think its a wild animal

There is a trash can at the trail head to throw your poop bags away. Thank you VERY much for cleaning up after your furry friends. ?

Beautiful place!
1st Saturday of every month, except January & July, there is a huge "garage sale" of sorts, with lots of odds and ends, furniture, etc. That benefits HELP of Ojai for seniors. They always have something fun to pick up for the house.

It is always a pleasure and joy to get out in nature. The locals that frequent these trails are friendly and often give a wave or say hi as you pass. Please keep dogs on leash as there are many horseback riders and not all horses understand that dogs are not coyotes.

The Ventura river is flowing and the evening up canyon breeze is unparalleled. People we meet on the trail are so happy to be in one of the most beautiful places in Ojai.
