Ohana is a Hawaiian work that means "family" and Ohana Supportive Services lives up to their name and more. My adult daughter started their last fall. She has Autism, is non-verbal, and has other special needs and she is thriving in their care. They have been patient and inquisitive learning about her needs/behavior and how to support her. She is not easy to care for, but staff treat her with dignity and care which has helped her grow. They have given her opportunities to go out in the community with her peers and loves this.

Management and staff are responsive, profession, organized, and transparent in their interactions. We are blessed to have such a wonderful program in the Grand Valley and I would recommend their services with 5+ stars.

I am so pleased with the professional and tender care the staff at Ohana provide for my daughter, Jessie. She is so happy and is doing things in the community i never thought she would be capable of. She is becoming more verbal and is growing in her ability to interact appropriately in social situations. Ohana is a blessing to our family.

If you are looking for an alternative to the same old approach for a day program this place is your answer. Especially if your loved one has high behavioral needs. Your family member will become their family. Their behaviors will not prevent them from learning and living their best life, which in return will decrease the behaviors. They will experience opportunities in the community everyday. I am so thankful for the growth my individual’s have experienced since joining the O’hana family.

I have worked with many agencies here in the Grand Valley and by far Ohana goes above and beyond for our individuals. They are accommodating and always available when we need them. My individual is happier and involved in so much more in the community than he has ever been. We are so Thankful to Casey, Kehau and all the staff for all they do. I would suggest this agency to anyone who asks me the best place in GJ to take their individual.
