The library closed at 5. It was 5:02 and we were being checked out by a library worker, when a white worker from the teen section came down into the kids section to tell us to leave even though we were being helped by an employee. She then followed us around til we left at 5:04, then as we sat in the oark8ng lot for a few minutes we saw a few other people leave without being harassed. Yes I understand you want to go home and we were 2 minutes past your go home time, but the other employee didn't mind and was very considerate especially considering I was walking on crutches which slowed down how fast I could get out of there despite the one lady telling me multiple times that they were closed, I still had to walk to the exit and you saying that over and over can't make someone disabled suddenly move faster. Very Rude and Very Unfriendly and Very Unprofessional.

AWESOME STAFF and place, lots of resources and nice staff. Riley in the computer department is a great person and helped me with printing a shipping label! All of the children department staff are nice and caring. Thank you.

We love this library! Great collection of books and fun events for the kids year round, but especially during the summer.

It's well kept, they're amiable and perfect sections for quiet study and for kids that are held separately. Love the events they hold monthly.

The customer service is a hit or
miss here via telephone & in person. I prefer to go to the Fairview Heights library because they’re consistent with treating their patrons with joyful respect. I would give names of the employees who made my experience less than enjoyable if I could remember them.

Reilly (hope that’s spelled right) helped us with our passports and they did such an amazing job and had such wonderful energy. They made us feel so comfortable and not only is this our first passport, we’re starting over fresh out of the country —- and they made sure to share important and pertinent information with us as well as wishing us the best!!! Very nice library. I went for a book sale, which was a bit disorganized. Boxes of books on the floor were a trip hazard and they were still adding books. Once you go through four rooms of books, do you really want to go back through all of them to see what they've added.
