I initially took my horse to Oak Ridge Farm in January of 2024 for Tarnia to train and ultimately moved him in to board permanently. Tarnia fosters a positive learning and social environment for all ages and rider levels. The facility is super organized and clean with great turnout pastures! The barn family there is amazing! Everyone is super friendly and helpful!

Absolutely amazing facility, staff, trainer and horses. My horse and I moved to OakRidge about 3 years ago and it’s the best barn I have ever been around. Everyone is friendly, the turnouts and riding areas are amazing, the staff takes amazing care of the horses, and the trainer is highly knowledgeable, funny and makes everything a good time while learning and constantly improving!

Oak Ridge Farm Equestrian is a beautiful facility. In addition, the stalls are immaculate and the barn is beautifully well-organized and maintained. The trails as well as the arena provide multiple opportunities to enjoy riding and communing with friends.

However, the best feature is the skilled trainer, Tarnia Morris. Her attention to detail, planned lessons, and precise feedback have helped my daughters progress in a short amount of time. Each lesson is beautifully tailored to developing the rider's skills, movements, and fluidity with the horse. I have seen her develop very young beginners and I have watched her improve seasoned riders with lofty riding ambitions. However, each rider receives the same professionalism, attention to detail, and her infectious joy of the sport. Each rider at Oak Ridge Farm Equestrian will find that they are part of a riding and barn community where sportsmanship and love of horses is the foundation of the facility.
Tarnia is on her way to establishing a premier facility in Southwest Illinois and the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Amazing facility and even better people. It can be hard to find a trainer who 1) has demonstrated top-level skill, 2) communicates feedback remarkably well and 3) is an affable, kind, but firm mentor to young riders. Tarnia checks all the boxes; the real deal.
