For some reason we have not been here before even though we have lived on Northbrook for many years. Well that was a mistake and I am sure we will be back to try some of the available activities again.

Kiddos had a b-day party that was a lot of fun and involved swimming so that's a huge plus for them. The staff was all nice and helpful and the place was nice and clean. The lower level could be confusing if you don't know where to go, but that's a small problem.

My family and I have been members of this YMCA for years, and we love the friendly staff members. They all work hard to keep the Y operating smoothly.
The programming people are very accommodating and flexible. They added pickleball court time when a group of players asked for more.
It's not a new building, and it does show its age: the basketball/pickleball court wooden floors have "dead" boards and protruding bolts; the stairwells are narrow; the locker rooms and shower areas are dingy.
Overall, the programming and staff make this fitness center a fine place to exercise and socialize.

Nice ymca with an indoor pool. Lap swim is by reservation only. They have a whirlpool but it's small. Hard to find things, so many twists and turns, like a maze

This Gym has the best Cardio Equipment I have ever used. The gym is always very clean and the machines always work. The amenities such as the whirlpool and sauna are very nice. The Staff are all very friendly. The personal trainers all do an amazing job and are friendly to people who workout here.

I'm a member of the Chicago YMCA system. The pool I use is closed for the annual cleaning and I was just online searching for another pool to use while my pool is unavailable. Found the NSYMCA and called and they offered scheduled lap swim. Been to NSYMCA a few times and I wanted to just say that everyone at the front desk have been so accommodating and friendly.

I have been coming here since 2019 and I enjoy swimming at the pool. The lifeguards do a great job at keeping the pool clean and they do a fantastic job. I also enjoy going into the hot tub after I swim

We were here this weekend for cultural fair which was interesting. The facility was large with pool, basketball courts and I say picket-ball signs. A bit far to us for gym but will be back for fairs and events.
