Our family highly recommends Karen Ashbaugh if your child is struggling with dyslexia. She worked with our daughter at the age of 11. Her confidence was shot because of the difficulties she was having at school. Working with Karen not only improved her school work, but it also improved how she interacted with others. My son will be 13 next week and he just completed Karen‘s reading program. Kare has a personal understanding of what the child and families experience when their child is struggling and I personally connected with her on this level. It is very apparent that Karen has a genuine passion in wanting to see my son improve and succeed. During the week of the program my son was so incredibly happy and more confident than I have seen him in a very long time. Our family is very excited to see how all the tools he learned in the program will help him be more successful and help increase his confidence in the classroom and in every aspect of life. My son struggles with reading and was basically looked over at the public school system. They passed him off as just being an energetic young boy. They failed to realize that more than half the alphabet caused disorientation, which would be a huge reason why he struggled so much. A friend recommended Karen and the Davis Dyslexia program. We jumped at the opportunity to get our son the information and tools his mind needed to be able to read better. I was impressed with how Karen was able to get through to my son in a way the his brain could understand. After the course was over, my son was thrilled to have had the experience and he actually thanked me for taking him! Thank you Karen for giving my son the tools he needed to confidently read better!
