My son and daughter went here. We have been coming here since 2021, but stopped by December 2023. Almost 3 years! All this time her tutors were really good. (Ms. S for small kids and Mr. M for older ones.) However, Ms. Nina used to yell a lot. I mean a lot. So when my son got taught by her, he would cry and beg not to go. I nicely used to tell her how my son was sensitive and not to yell at him. The day after, she literally humiliated my son. She said things like “Why are you crying? Look at all these little kids. Do they cry? Why are you acting like we beat you?” After that, one month straight these two stupid kids were mocking and bullying my son. Did nothing about it. Overall, her tutors were ABSOLUTELY amazing. She just wasn’t it. I get it though, there’s like 200 kids cramped up in a room. Her stress levels probably are very high.
(P.s. sometimes she curses in her Punjabi language. LOL ?)

As a parent, Ms Ninas tutoring center was not beneficial to my child. Her strict way of “teaching” was just her yelling problems into my kids ears and making them cry. In the beginning, i thought this tutoring center would be a way to discipline my child into getting into the habit of doing their homework, but I missed an important part. I want my kid to actually learn from their school work, and Ms Nina did not help my kid.
On top of the fact that she didn’t help my child learn anything, he couldn’t even concentrate on his work while she was yelling at other students or at him for silly mistakes. Some examples are her screaming at a kid for dropping a water bottle, not knowing how to spell the number four, and using a pen instead of a pencil. These are understandable mistakes, but yelling at a child to the point that they cry and beg me not to take them? Also, the teachers always have a bad attitude. Honestly, this place is just a hell hole overall DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Nina is one of the worst people you will ever meet. All she does all day is yell all the time while my kid is trying to concentraste on his work and couldn’t get any work done even though he was struggling from the beginning already and when his teacher helped him Nina’s loud voice kept overlapping. Sure people fool around but it’s not okay to scream at them and mind you she even made a student cry because of her attitude towards that student. Do not bring your child here as this will be a waste of time and money as all nina does all day is yell at kids very rudely and loudly which disrupts other students learning and them trying to completer their work especially the assignments that they are struggling with. She is a waste of time and money.

Nina’s tutoring center is one of the best tutoring centers, it is inexpensive and you get amazing service. We have been going to Ms.Nina for more than 7 years. It is a very disciplined and a strict one room environment that encourages learning, with Ms. Nina always present. It is unlike other South East Asian tutoring centers where student teachers are fooling around with students. I as DOE employee personally recommend Ms. Nina to all parents who have children with disciplinary issues, as her strict manner encourage’s/ forces them to study. There are those who do not like her service due to their personal ego and lack of parenting skills.

Best tutoring center. Even if the owner of the building is strict, she is still pretty nice. The only reason the kids think she’s rude is because they are the ones rude to her.

Best tutoring, Very good teachers, good staff, and a good learning environment! I would recommend to others because they teach very well. If you need help with school work or need to study for tests, Ninas Tutoring is the way to go. Definitely the best tutoring center. My son’s grade really improved after coming here.

Nina's Tutoring is the best! All you people saying these rude things are not appreciating Nina. You don't have to run a tutoring, and teach a whole bunch of kids. At school, when the teacher yells at you, does that mean that The teacher doesn't care about you, or that the teacher is rude? I don't think so. And you all are haters. If you don't yell then how are kids going to listen? Its not like kids listen anyways when your nice. And when you get an answer wring she doesn't yell. She explains it to you as many times that you need. Most of the reviews are fake, because all these parents just listen to their kids about the yelling, not the improving. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE MEAN REVIEWS. Because, they hurt. THINK BEFORE YOU TAlK, and everything in this review is true. Please dont believe the others......

what I liked about this place was that in this center, students got the attention they deserved because every teacher had about 5 or 4 kids at their table and the teacher would help the students when the student asked for help. So it was not like the other tutoring centers, where they have 30 students and 1 teacher. So, at Nina's toturing center what I liked about it was the small group setting because it made me comfortable. For me, usually I dont talk that much during big group discussions because I am not comfortable and I would not ask the teachers questions in a big group setting because I am too nervous to. But at Ninas, since they offer small group settings with about 4 students and 1 teacher, it gave me a better chance to ask the teacher a question wheter having to wait or worry about when is it going to be my turn to ask a question. Overall, good experince. I really felt that I improved on my math and english skills because they give you work consistently. Oh and they give you free snacks so thats good 🙂
