Save your money! I paid $22k for a 12-week master course to complete dent work on hoods for eight weeks of it. The instructor Rick was only present approximately 50% of the time as he is also running his primary business Autostream and opening three new Autostream locations while attempting to be an instructor. When he was at the school, he was in business meetings, on the phone, completing paperwork in his office, etc. I attempted to have a conversation with Rick twice regarding his presence in the classroom as our instructor as this is what I paid him for. He responded that I should be able to do the dent work by myself, this is his program, and he will run it how he chooses. Two days before what would be my last day at the school, Rick had been gone for approximately two hours and showed back up and asked me what I was doing. I told him that I was trying to work on the car rails but had to stop as the master tech that was working on the vehicle needed to finish the vehicle in the area I was working on. Rick then told me that I could just get back on hoods. I told him that I needed to practice on rails as I had just started learning rails and my time in the class was ending in two days. He told me that he was the instructor and I needed to go to his office now. I went to his office with him where he blew up on me. He cussed me out telling me to get the f out. He was screaming at the top of his lungs. Rick is extremely unprofessional, and I would not recommend him to anyone! In the end, according to my contract, I was only taught a portion of my PDR training, was not able to keep the tools that were provided to me and marked with my name and was out $22k.

I did a lot of research prior making a decision which PDR school to choose.
There are some schools that offer couple of weeks of training, they promise they can teach you within this short time. I’m glad I did not choose those options.
NexGenPro offers a 3 months program.
Realistically, for some people even 3 months might not be enough. PDR is not for everybody. But I like it from the very first day of the class.
During the training, you always get attention from the teacher as well as from master technicians who work at the shop. Very professional and friendly atmosphere at this facility. The classes are Monday-Friday but you are welcome to come Saturday if you feel you need more time.
I started the class in October. By the end of the program (January) I am able to work on customer’s vehicles (under supervision of a master tech). Im still doing PDR very slowly (compared to other experienced contractors) but it definitely needs a lot more time and PATIENCE to gain experience and the speed.
I think I made a right decision by choosing NexGenPro school for PDR training. Very complex course, “hands on” teaching, friendly learning environment.
Definitely recommend.
