We had a long weekend visit and the hotel is a wonderful combination of modern amenities and old west style. We had two dinners and a breakfast in the restaurant that were excellent. The filet mignon was incredible. The service was helpful and friendly. The bar next door is really cool. Loved our stay.

What an amazing stay! Photos and website do not do this hotel justice. The property and rooms are classic, but well appointed and maintained. Team members were genuinely friendly, warm and inviting (as well as helpful). No dull, inattentive corporate vibes here. Amazing bathroom. Amazing linens/bed. Amazing food. Fun bar. Could not ask for more. Wouldn't stay anywhere else upon my next visit to Telluride.

The absolute best place in Telluride for breakfast and dinner. The personality of this restaurant is so lovely; the ambiance with the lighting and old fashioned feel to the music they play— it’s a great experience. The food is absolutely delicious as well. Madison was our favorite server, he was so kind and attentive and made the experience for us even better. The French toast, eggs, steaks, and scallops are all amazing dishes for when you go! Also I highly recommend the old fashion from the bar, it was superb.

We had a fantastic stay at the New Sheridan over Christmas. The hotel is conveniently located on Main Street, about a five minute walk to the free gondola up to the ski area. The rooms are very well appointed and the decor pays homage to old Telluride. All the staff are fantastic, attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. Oh, and the food and cocktails at the hotel's restaurant and bar are also great! We'll definitely be back.

We stopped here for Breakfast on a recommendation from a friend in Ouray. Randall was our server, we were told the Chilaquiles were amazing here and they were right. The best I have ever had and Randall was amazing! Next time we are in Telluride this will be where we stay and eat.

The location is the best in Telluride. The guided walking tour of Telluride spent a good chunk of time here, as the hotel, opera house and saloon are all historic. The hallways have amazing historic pictures. All the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious. It was a little noisy as our room was in the back near the dumpsters. One evening, we could hear the music in the courtyard; that was cool. They gave us water bottles each day.

Excellent experience all around ... we were unable to secure a reservation on line at a convenient time so stopped by a day earlier and made an reservation in person for the following night. Food quality and service were excellent. Enjoyed a wedge salad (split for 2), filets perfectly cooked, potatoes Anna. Highly recommend.
