For nearly a decade my husband and I remained uninvolved with the corporate church. We were in a good place with God, but had been badly burned by "the church".
After moving to Sterling last March we decided to see if there was a church that we could connect with. Over a few weeks, I noticed that any time I drove by New Life Lutheran that there were always cars in the parking lot....stuff was going on. There was LIFE even during the week, and not just Sunday morning.
We showed up for the 10:30 service one week and were warmly welcomed by pastor Drew and pastor Eric. Nine months later, we are so blessed to have found a church family and a group of people that don't just sit in pews on Sunday, but get outside the walls and are active within the community. AND don't just pay lip service to the Kingdom of God, but pursue it.

My husband and I have tried several churches in the Sterling area. New Life Church has become our place of worship. The sermons are always excellent! Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. There are classes for my grand kids and there is no pressure to always give money. This church is open about where the monies go. We have seen this is a giving, loving and caring congregation. We believe the pastors and congregation truly love and serve God and only care about guiding us closer to God.

New Life stands on the Bible as the authoritative and true and perfect word of God. It's a great atmosphere where people can feel comfortable coming together to fellowship and worship and do so many other things together. As I write this, things are happening and God is moving in the church and in the congregation. They want to reach the community and the world with God's love. For anyone looking, I would at least check this out and maybe visit a few times to see what you think. They've got a traditional and a modern service, so a little bit for everyone.

New life Lutheran is a wonderful place to worship. I have been a member over 12 years. There is absolutely no judgment. There’s no pressure in giving financially in the ministers or individuals from our leaders talk they’re very personable. They welcome you and anyone with open arms I feel very safe at this church.
