Pretty good facility, lots of positive support from the clients around here. You get to stay in your own room, have your phone from 4pm to 10pm after the first 8 days and good food! I met a great group of people here, got my hair done, and there is a wonderful dentist in this building too who is very gentle and compassionate and works well with people who are afraid of the dentist and doctors! I got my teeth and my hair done and it helped me feel much better on top of getting sober! Thanks Mary and New Beginnings!

Today, I’m almost six months sober, and I owe it all to New Beginnings. Before I found this place, I was in a very dark place—struggling with addiction and living without faith. I was detoxing in county jail, and had been at another facility before coming here, but it wasn’t until I arrived at New Beginnings that I truly started to feel like I was recovering.

This place has given me more than just a chance to get sober; it’s given me a chance to heal, find faith, and rebuild my life. The support system here is unlike anything I could have imagined. From the moment I called for help, Monica made me feel at ease and hopeful, and Mary has been a true godsend throughout this journey. The staff at New Beginnings have always been there for me, offering guidance and compassion through every challenge.

I came here terrified, unsure of what the future would hold, but now, I feel empowered and ready to give back. I’ve seen firsthand how this recovery center changes lives, and I hope to join the team one day and help others the way I’ve been helped. If you or a loved one is struggling, I can’t recommend a better place than New Beginnings. It’s a place where healing happens, and faith is restored. God bless.

New beginnings recovery center and Mary Brewer has not only saved my life once but twice she absolutely went out on a limb for me brought me to the center help me to get sober and loved me until I could love myself. I went through 36 Days of treatment and then moved into one of her sober homes and now thrive in the community. New beginnings has so much to offer mind body Spirit and soul from healing your brain and your body and removing the strongholds in your life I have had my children go through I have had my brothers and sisters go through and I would recommend it to anybody. I will be forever grateful for the new life that I have because of new beginnings and Mary Brewer Mary I love you so very much and thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself

New Beginnings gives you second chance at reclaiming your life back. This program at New Beginnings covers all aspects of recovery from addiction. The classes are top notch at addressing recovery, they teach a new ways of thinking and how to address your triggers and overcoming them. They also help you with your meds and keep you on a proper regiment. They also offer a very healthy and tasty diet. The therapist are top notch at addressing addiction recovery.
You are also assigned a case worker which in turn will help you with any assistance you may need with government programs and health issues such as dental, vision , massages or any other type issues you may have. You will also be assigned an after care manager who will assist you with housing, meetings basically so you can succeed after your treatment program. The most important part of treatment was the faith based help I received from going to church and Bible study offered weekly.
The staff was very helpful and kind they truly care about all the clients and there needs to overcome substance abuse. The program offered at New Beginnings was a fantastic experience.

Sincerely,

Very thankful for Mary and the rest of team there. Sarah is amazing and very knowledgeable. Dr. Margie is the best therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Christian knows what he's doing with the lens and laser machines.

I moved all the way from Kansas City, Missouri to come to this place. It wasn’t my first treatment center but it was the first treatment center that changed my life. I had staff members I hadn’t even met yet, who knew my name and asked me how I was doing the first week I was there. I was so sick and scared yet the staff did everything in their power to help me feel comfortable and understood. The classes you do every day gave me not only a safe place to voice my past traumas but the tools I needed to deal with them so I wouldn’t relapse. I have lived in Mary’s sober living where I lived my daily life utilizing the tools NBRC taught me ! I have had opportunities given to me where I helped lead worship in the church Mary pastors at. I was a house coordinator for Mary’s sober home where I sent weekly reports to Mary herself. I am thankful for this PROGRAM. It sparked my relationship with God again where I walk in grace every day and make choices for my life that ensure a great deal of joy and peace! Not every place IS for every one and you have to truly be ready to start a New Beginning. This Recovery Center is a place where you can learn to RECOVER ! I just suggest you take what you can and move forward with your life unless you are called to stay, which seems to be every one after they complete. It is meant to be a step stone. This is a program ran by a bunch of previous addicts and convicts. Mary even hired a registered Sex offender on probation still and allowed them to work for her. It's unfortunate because Mary herself, shocked me on who I thought she was vs who she is. After months of being a big part of her community I came to find her atmosphere more like a cult and clique the more involved you became. And when it was time to part ways and leave she made it very difficult and lied about numerous aspects. She is self righteous and proud. She is a business woman before a Godly woman and has too much on her plate if honesty is what were looking for on reviews. God alone changed me. Healed me. Spoke to me. And guided me. Mary hand picks who she chooses to listen too or give second chances too or discipline. It is never steady and youll see that she doesnt even follow her own rules she sets in place and has you sign. She took my house key when i gave my thirty day notice to move out and didnt allow me on the property to gather my things afterwards She tried claiming I owed thousands of dollars when my probation covered the rent every month and was not possible for me to owe. And it was after she kicked me out that I had a balance. She hires people who won't strengthen her or make the place better .. she hires those she can control and take advantage of the situations they're in. And when they leave she makes it messy. She kept furniture of mine. Tvs. Electronics. My bike. Ac unit. I'm talking thousands of dollars worth of things.. when I had a lapse she said one thing to me in her office and another to staff who later called to tell me the opposite. Her center is a revolving door for repeats. In fact the majority of everyone who goes thru her center have been there numerous times. And yet she claims her center is ranked one of the best in the state. It cannot be true and its based on what statistics? She hired someone who worked over three years there and didn't do any of the correct paperwork on clients with insurance and made the other staff clean up the mess let alone made documentation up that was past the time period medicaid allowed for it to be billed. She kept controlled substances in her office and allowed anyone q mapped to pass medicine where it was stolen by her own staff members and still working as the receptionist and face of the company and living on grounds of the center! She pastors a church and scolds people into believing rather teaching about the love and forgiveness God is about ... which is what a lot of people are seeking being as lost or broken as they are coming into a program needing help. It starts with grace and she brings up the Graves we should all be in given the sins we commit daily.

New Beginnings Recovery Center and Marys Hope are the sole reasons I'm alive and well today. All departments of my life had become unmanagable. I had become dependent on drugs and was homeless. I no longer had any communication with my family and was constantantly in legal trouble. Once I had thought my life to be completely hopeless...I was told about New Beginnings several times from previous clients both whom were in successful recovery. I was arrested shortly thereafter and new in my heart it was time to choose life over inevitable death. I immediately called New Beggings and put my name on the list. After jail I was immediately brought to the center where I was warmly welcomed by Mary and all of her amazing staff. The feeling of finally knowing I was safe resonated my entire being. I no longer felt the hopelessness I had only known the past 5 years of my life. The light at the end of the seemingly neverending tunnel had finally started appear. My 30 days flew by as I became a sponge for all the life saving information and life changing skills the program had to offer. My life had only taken a turn for the best. I found employment, moved into Marys hope, gained back my relationship with my family all of which were things I never thought possible. Above all things this program helped me regain my relationship with God! The only way one can truly love thyself and enjoy all the amazing things that life has to offer is to surrender to the Lord. THANK YOU MARY AND ALL AT NEW BEGINNINGS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY AT A SUCCESSFUL NEW BEGINNING IN LIFE. I AM AND ALWAYS WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!
