Dr. Stephen Johans is an excellent neurosurgeon. He did surgery on my spine and I am very pleased with he results. When I first met him, he was easy to talk to. He listens to you and will answer all your questions He is honest and forthright and doesn't sugarcoat things. I felt confident going into my surgery. Would recommend him in a heartbeat. Dr. Johans is very professional and personable and an excellent neurosurgeon. I am six weeks out from a four level laminectomy and straightening of my scoliosis curve. He explained every detail of the procedure and answered all of my questions regarding what a "big" surgery involved. I haven't felt this good in years and I owe it all to Dr. Johans. Best neurosurgeon in the area, wants to actually help and not just get a paycheck from unnecessary surgeries. Wish I would’ve been a patient of his from the start of my back problems, went to him to get a second opinion on a second back surgery and will stay with him from here on out.
