The educational class for home buyers was very informative. April did a great job of leading, interacting and covering many topics. It was a very useful day. We had several opportunities for breaks. And encouraged to ask questions. It was very professional and helpful.

SUPER friendly company. My husband and I took their home buyers class (instructor was Cynthia I believe) and it was VERY informative and helpful! SUPER happy we took this class. I will DEFINITELY recommend this class to a couple of my friends that are looking at possibly buying a house in the next year or so.

NeighborWorks is nothing short of amazing. I can't say enough good things about them. They taught me what I needed to do to buy my first home and then they helped me buy it! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help figuring out how to buy their first home. ♥️

Buyer beware!! I bought a home and paid cash for the land and when I went to sign the thousands of pages to buy my home I agreed to pay them an additional $13,069 dollars for nothing!!! It’s crazy cause it literally says they gave me assistance. I have all my original documents except the one the popped when I decided to sell my home and paid neighbor hood works more than the realtor. When I spoke with financial representative she said you signed you have to pay. Never received assistance or help besides being able to buy in the neighborhood they owned. Again be careful 1st buyers and anyone who buys from them...no wonder how they finance their non profit organization by taking advantage of the young and inexperienced. Sad that their are not honest.

Horrible response time for time sensitive things related to our mortgage. We had to take an online class last second for our loan and these guys are responsible for a “follow up call”. 2 hours, 3 calls and 4 emails later and I can’t get a response from them to schedule my call. They close now(430) and won’t be open tomorrow (Friday) or the weekend

It was a great experience it's nice to talk to people that really want to help you succeed in getting a home and giving you the knowledge to navigate the pitfalls that can happen and do happen without that knowledge that is given you. I recommend taking this weather you already own a home or just thinking of buying one, when climbing to a new level it nice to have a net.

This organization is partially funded by city and Federal tax dollars. They have not published an annual report in years, have doubled their staff, their accomplishments are never posted in the newspaper, and I have no idea what I'm getting as a tax payer. An organization that I'm associated with that is investigating Sandy Daff for corruption requested an annual report and did not get the courtesy of a response. One of the new employees was previously terminated for theft and now is back at work at NeighborWorks? As a former member I was embarrassed when a former and long-time volunteer publicly confronted me at a business event about a NeighborWorks staff member who was sleeping with board members. After I verified this as true, I discontinued my association with this organization. My time and money is now dedicated to worthy organizations.
