Visited on a Thursday afternoon and booked the leisurely nature hike in advance. We ended up being the only 4 on the hike, and our guide (Lucy) was very sweet and knowledgeable. Learned about the local animals and mountains.

Beautiful views and lots of activities for children/families.

Just WOW. Incredible staff, superb knowledgeable and helpful. Our kids did not want to return to the slopes after being at the Discovery Center. They built puzzles, learned trivia and the animal exhibit was incredible. Thank you!!!

Amazing! I'm a non-skier and visited Vail with family who ski. I'd brought my own snow shoes but had never used them until the day before but only hiked on a flat trail. The folks at Walking Mountains are so nice. Had a lovely snow shoe nature hike with Sarah N on a fresh trail at the top of the mountain (Eagle Bahn gondola) and a lovely customer service interaction with Christina N. Can't thank these wonderful women enough for making my Vail trip memorable!

Incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable volunteers. Very much recommend a stop to learn more about nature around the mountains, or to take one of the snowshoe tours they do!

So much fun! Our nine-year old daughter had a blast. Come with lots of available cash, though. It's way pricier than it probably should be.
