Fantastic exhibits and a really thorough overview of the local mining history. My favorite was the diorama room! I doubt one could learn more about mining in a day in another place. Be prepared to spend upwards of 2 hours here, to really experience everything.

Place is cool enough. 15 dollars for entry is a little more than I wanted to pay however if you are into mining it’s probably a steel. (See what I did there) lots of things were out of order like the bathrooms, the elevator and some displays. If you’re not into mining it’s still a pretty neat place to check out. The young lady at the front desk was nice so that is good to see.

This museum had a lot of things in it, but a lot of the stuff didn't work-- buttons not working, videos not working, activities not stocked, typos, signs falling down, etc. I've included photos of some of them. They had the gift shop and ticket counter at the same register-- it took forever to get into the place.
