National Karate is truly an outstanding karate school that offers so much more than just martial arts training. We LOVE being a part of the National Karate community. My son absolutely loves attending karate classes and always asks if he can go to karate everyday! Mr. Drescher is amazing with the kids. My son started attending Karate class when he was weeks before turning 3 years old, which was last month. My son is always excited when we are going to his class. We love Mr. Drescher! My almost 6 year old has been attending karate for about a year and loves it. He is so excited every time he gets a new belt and loves showing off his new “skills”. Mr Drescher is just the right amount of discipline while still making sure he treats the kids like kids and allows them to have fun. All of the staff are friendly, patient and understanding. It’s a great environment and I’d recommend it to anyone!

We did the 3wks free trial and in the time frame we could see a big difference in my son! He is 9yr old and has become more confident and structured in his day-to-day life! He absolutely loved going to class and achieving goal for HIMSELF. the instructors are all kind and helpful. They make class fun and want everyone to succeed. You also get to watch the classes. the place is clean, tidy, and very organized. Affordable IMO. They send emails only when needed. My son has not enjoyed any extra curricular activity we've tried UNTIL this Karate school. highly highly recommend.

My little ones have been going to karate since October. I have to say they love it here. My husband and I love it here. It is honestly a great little community. The staff is incredibly friendly. All of the teachers are patient and kind with the children. They really go out of their way to make sure each student understands the skills. My children always feel so comfortable when they are there, and I can see an improvement in behaviors at home because of the discipline karate teaches them.I also love that they offer events outside of just karate so you really do feel welcome all the time. If you are considering karate for yourself or your little ones, I would definitely recommend this location.

My son goes to National Karate in South Elgin and is currently a black belt on track to become a candidate for his second degree. Mr. Drescher, Ms. Oie and the other instructors are wonderful. They do more than just teach karate; they provide life lessons, discipline and more confidence for every student. I wouldn't trade our experience for anything and look forward to continuing this adventure with our karate family.
