Worst job center experience ever, made me feel discriminated because of my white skin or Slavic nationality. Had orientation day with national able network and lead for orientation Ms. Angela was amazing. But, week after orientation I had call back from guy who introduced himself as Peter (when I asked for a last name he said it's not important, I'm only one Peter here) and gentlemen said I'm not eligible for getting grant and moving forward with them because I don't have green card or citizenship. Right after orientation I filled out the form with all my information including valid work authorization and SSN at the ChicagolandCareerConnect website, did all the steps from card I have from orientation and never heard a word that I need to have green card or citizenship. Tried contact to another job centers - all of them confirm that I AM eligible for a program with all papers I have. Strongly do not reccomend for white people because they just will do their best to get rid of you
