My children reported being inappropriately touched by another student—one incident involved contact in private areas. While the school followed protocol by notifying the district, what followed was a disgrace.

Kristy Avila, the Civil Rights Officer and Title IX Coordinator, was dismissive, condescending, and shockingly unprofessional. When I expressed concern over my daughter’s case, she laughed—yes, laughed—during a conversation about sexual harassment involving a child. Her behavior was unacceptable and inexcusable.

I filed a formal complaint. Leanee Medina Estrada concluded Ms. Avila did nothing wrong (Her word against mine). When I appealed, Laura Juranek told me the board made a final decision without even hearing my side. The message was clear: the district will protect its staff at all costs, no matter how they treat families.

There was no accountability, no transparency, and no empathy. The district failed my family and sent the message that parents’ voices don’t matter. This is a systemic failure, and it puts other children at risk.

Awful employee, a black man, gets in the face of a white man with a camera in public and tried to intimate him. This behavior starts at the top so let's start there and see why a black man wants to fight a white man at your school district? Terrible. Imagine how he acts without a camera around? Awful

Maybe, if you actually taught United States History in the Schools, the students would know what a "Minuteman" is.
And just maybe the "students"
could understand then, and take some Pride in their School, Community & Country. 🙏🇺🇸🗽😉

The Diablo Community Center (DCC) at MDHS offers support services from equity partnership agencies, school social work interns, and district personnel. It’s also a cool place for youth activities and learning about mental health. DCC is the Flagship Wellness Center in Mt. Diablo Unified.

This school district thinks its ok to push political Agendas and call EVERYTHING COVID I'm pulling my kids completely out of school they will now be home schooled when you have schools and school districts pushing political agendas your indoctrination our children it's not going to happen with me we have flu season we have cold season we have allergy season everything isn't covid enough is enough already .........PARENTS ARE SICK OF THIS
