Great gondolas with friendly employees and awesome views! Evidently, Telluride is the only gondola in the country that offers free rides! Thank you!!! We really enjoyed both the day and night rides. The views were breathtaking. We saw a beaver on our day ride, and we saw an elk and a buck on our night ride. The gondola easily fit 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably.

Free gondola is now my preferred mode of transit. The ride up to and through the points in village is a whole scenic adventure by itself, but once you get to the mountain village you can really enjoy the ambiance. It's a cute area to walk around with tons of public seating, and just a great mountain vibe.

Just don't miss Telluride Brew Co. while you are there...I'm always wary of a brewery named after a town, but it's legitimately good.

My husband and I love visiting Telluride, we have been multiple times since we only live 5 hours away.

Mountain village is always our first stop on the gondola and then we take the second gondola down to Telluride.

Mountain village is gorgeous! The location has multiple shops and places to get a bit to eat. We especially love it when they have live music in the center square.
However, be prepared for prices to be on the higher end for food and apparel.

The area is very dog friendly - they even have dog specific gondolas. And depending on the season depends on your outside activities: snow season for skiing and snow boarding and off season for mountain biking. And yes, they do have a bunny hill for kids and newbies.

This is a MUST visit location!

We loved Mountain Village! It reminded us of a small town in Europe. It's totally walkable and has shops and restaurants....large variety.

Beautiful shopping mall with plenty of stores and restaurants to choose from. All the stores are overpriced but its expected as it is an expensive resort and there is nothing else around. Definitely beautiful views and very nicely kept.

We went mid week so we didn’t have to deal with lines. Parked close to the gondola and took it up the hill. Fun place to visit with the gondola ride being the grandkids favorite part. 👍🏼

Beautiful surroundings. Live music in the open area. Great food and fabulous lodging. You can't beat this place. And the views, the views are indescribable. So beautiful.
