We had a FANTASTIC time with MotherLode rafting company for our staff training day! The people they have on staff are so great to work with. We had Daniella and Jake as our guides and they were so knowledgable about the river and made us feel safe the entire time. Greg, the owner was one of the nicest guys we have ever met. They supplied us with great gear and the boat and equipment were top of the line. It was an incredible experiences and we will be back!

Great hospitality! The company and the guides really want you to have a great time! We planned to camp overnight on site and they offered us the tents they rent already set up with cot bunk beds since there were some that didn’t get reserved. It was convenient and gave us a little more time to chill out instead of setting up camp. We loved our guide, Josh, because he was fun and very friendly. Daniella taught the safety to everyone and she was really nice to share some details about the area with me about hiking and rock climbing.

I would def recommend this company! Everything was great!

Beautiful spot on the American River. Camping trails and river access. You can get on a rafting experience at this spot. There's also a ropes course and great staff. Clean bathrooms and potable water.

My kids and I LOVE LOVE LOVE MaLode! We started going when they were 7 (they are 21 now!) and for many years it was an annual tradition …as we graduated to bigger rapids. We drive up from LA and camp at MaLode . The guides are fantastic, the food is delicious and the location can’t be beat.

It's been some time since I went rafting with Mother Lode, so I can't recall the guides' names. I led groups of teenagers from our church and trusted them with the guides over and over again. I'm working on a plan to bring some newbie young adults out this season.

The only improvement I can think of is that Mother Lode should have kidnapped me, trained me as a guide, and made me raft day after day. Cheers!

This spot is absolutely wonderful! The staff, from the office to the drivers to the camp/activity staff members, are totally phenomenal! They're interactive, welcoming and they truly care that you have an outstanding experience. The ropes course was perfect for team building and personal growth. Ropes consists of Leap of Faith, Catwalk, Zip Line and Trust Walk.

Food was plentiful and delicious. They provided coolers to house the snacks we brought. The permanent canvas tents all had bunk cots and there were (7) 4 person tents and (2) 8 person tents. The restrooms were clean and they have actual toilets. The showers were a bit on the cool side, however we had a large group so it may have been too many showering in a short period of time. I highly recommend this location for overnight trips whether your group is large or small.

My family and I had such a wonderful time. We camped out the day and night before and played in the river a little bit and the next morning headed out with the guide on the river raft, which was just a ton of fun.

Went up to Mother Lode from San Diego with the 8th grade graduating class at my son’s school. What an amazing experience we all had! The staff is amazing, Mike and Jake got us down the river and what an adventure we had. Can’t say enough great things about Star’s cooking, she catered to my GF diet perfectly. The whole experience was so great, highly recommend checking this place out.
