Alabama Hills offers a picturesque landscape of large rocks and easy hiking trails, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. The drive through the area was relatively straightforward, and visiting on a weekday allowed for a peaceful experience. However, the heat during our visit made us recommend visiting later in the fall for a more comfortable trip. The area offers numerous camping spots, allowing visitors to wake up to the stunning natural beauty of the rocks and the backdrop of Mount Whitney. A highly recommended destination for those who appreciate natural landscapes.

Beautiful stop - off the beaten track. From the parking lot, take the trail that starts on the west side (left when facing arch). Once to the möbius arch, you can either keep doing the loop or turn around (would recommend turning around). The path up to the kissing heads is difficult to scramble up.

Road was pretty rough driving - would not recommend driving a small car or sedan.

Nice and easy dust loop trail to some unique rock formations and great signage to the arch! The trail is easy to spot, and again, the signs are great at helping orient you as you trek onwards. The contrast of the high desert leading up to the Sierras is stunning! Mt. Whitney shines against the sunrise in the morning, and it's awesome to sit back and take in the views.

Very easy and rewarding short hike. Views are amazing. Too bad. I went when the road was closed and a 10min drive become 30mins. Recommend going for sunrise. Easy to hike in the dark too.

Very interesting rock formations. No services. No postings Sioux City cannot fly a drone, had a volunteer stop me from flying my drone and then told me I could get a permit which takes about 2 weeks. In the middle of nowhere they have a room like this?

Nice one Mile hike. Trek clear and visible by small rocks placed along the way. Peaceful place. Loved it.

This is a really short easy walk that could be done by most people. Please go early in the hot summer months. The arch is not as large as you might think, probably fitting about 4 adults inside. Look to your right as the path stones on the right end. We accidentally walked right by it the first time.
