Our son worked with MindGuide for over 5 years. He had Jennifer for math tutoring and Darlene for reading and writing tutoring. I can’t express enough how invested his tutors were. They were extremely knowledgeable about various research based teaching methods. They approached my son as an Individual and made sure to make his learning engaging and enjoyable. I felt a tremendous amount of gratitude leaving my son to learn with both of his tutors because they were extremely experienced and the level of patience and kindness exhibited by both of them was unwavering. Mindguide has been an invaluable support for my son, who has ADHD, Dyslexia and anxiety. The tutors at Mindguide are able to work with kids individually since no child is the same. As a parent, I also felt supported by Mindguide. I was able to work with an IEP consultant through Mindguide, which really helped me navigate through the IEP meetings at our public school. The check in’s and conferences around my son’s learning were also very informative and provided me with ideas around how I could continue my son’s learning during normal times at home as well. Our son is in 5th grade and has been receiving online tutoring from Mindguide since his 2nd grade year. Thanks to meeting Jennifer at his 2nd grade school, our son received a reading assessment that helped us identify his learning disabilities early on. He was eventually diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia as well as ADHD.
His tutors at Mindguide have built positive relationships with him and have successfully utilized a wide variety of effective, interactive strategies for helping him build his skills and improve his focus during lessons, all while using the online format.
As proof that the online format works, our son recently shared with us that his tutors at Mindguide rank as his top 3 BEST teachers! 🙂 Additionally, the school psychologist at his public elementary school told us that, technically, he no longer meets the criteria for dyslexia! He is now reading at or above grade level! His tutor is now focusing more on writing and math skills in his tutoring sessions. We are thrilled with the progress we've seen these past 3 years, especially given that his learning has been primarily online! It works! We highly recommend MindGuide!

Our daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and inattentive ADD in the middle of 1st grade. She began working with Jennifer to bring her reading up to grade level. Since it was at the beginning of COVID, their sessions were online, which made no difference. Jennifer was able to engage our daughter, have fun with her and get work done. Over the two year period they worked together our daughter made significant gains and is now reading at grade level. I highly recommend Jennifer and MindGuide Learning.
