I struggled tremendously in Calculus 3 until George Buck was able to show me the "why" behind every equation which gave me a deep understanding of the concepts. I felt much more confident going into tests and was even able to explain to other classmates what was discussed in our tutoring sessions. I was never afraid to ask a question no matter how simple and I felt he really valued my learning and catered to my learning style. He was always engaging me and letting me find the answers myself while teaching me the reason behind each method. He always had flexible times for us to meet and I never had issues scheduling. My grade improved a lot thanks to his help!

Mindfish is incredible! Look no further if you are considering test prep. As a pediatric psychiatrist with a teen who is bright but has unique learning needs due to ADHD and dyslexia, I knew it was critical to find ACT tutoring that understands neurodivergent teens. I wasn't able to find suitable specialty test prep in Michigan, so I did a national search and selected Mindfish Test Prep. They started with practice ACT and SAT tests to assess his needs and then recommended he work with Hailey A. based on her expertise. I was not only completely satisfied but blown away by her professionalism, ease with connecting with my teen, and most importantly the results. My son's English score went up by 13 points and total score was impressive - went from a 29 to a 35. It was worth every penny! Keep in mind that your teen needs do the work between tutoring sessions, but have confidence that the sessions are of high value and the assigned work is strategic--and the results will come!

BEST EF COACH/TUTOR! I can't express how much Jamie O’Brien at Mindfish Test Prep & Academics has helped our son navigate high school and college. We have worked with several EF coaches and tutors in the past, but none of them even come close to all that Jamie brings to the table. She has exceeded our expectations across the board, always goes the extra mile and consistently offers unique and creative solutions to anything that comes her way. At first I had a tutor named Jack Holds and he was great. He helped me study everything to get up to a 1480. However, my math score wasn’t what I wanted to, so I worked with George Buck specifically in the math area. In a month or two we had worked my math score up from a 740 to an 800. I really loved both of them as people and tutors and would highly recommend.

Our son, a junior at Boulder High, had an outstanding result with Mindfish! Working with Hailey he was able to to raise his ACT score from a 30 to a 34. Amazing. Moreover this a wonderful local business, and Bill the co owner could not be nicer, generous with his time/thoughts and knowledgeable about the space. Our son felt supported and held accountable, perfect blend of rigor , structure and encouragement. Located downtown on Pearl St, it was easy for him to walk there after school, a nice bonus. Overall this is the type of tutoring every parent hopes to provide for their teen! Highly recommended.

After an initial consultation with Bill, Mindfish help create a detailed plan for my son. We began the process thinking he should take he SAT, but Bill recommended the ACT as a better fit. We trusted him and we are very glad we did! His tutor Hailey was amazing and she kept him on track, tailoring weekly lessons to exactly what he needed to learn or review. The extensive bank of practice materials were fantastic and the ability to take simulated tests in a proctored environment was the icing on the cake. My son achieved his score goal and then some -- and felt great about the entire process. We will definitely be using Mindfish again when it comes time for our younger child!
