Mighty Acorns is an amazing place for kids. Teacher Tyana is a fantastic, caring educator and is also an excellent communicator with kids and adults alike. I loved that our daughter got to spend so much time outside and on field trips. I would choose this preschool again in a heartbeat!

Our daughter, Cameron, is finishing up her last preschool year at Mighty Acorns and we truly could not be more grateful for her experience with teacher Tyana. Tyana goes to extensive lengths to care for, love, and provide a safe, nurturing environment for her students.

Every single 'Mighty Acorn" goes to school excited to be there, and return to us in the afternoon with smiles on their faces! I swear Tyana's enthusiasm and love for this earth reverberates through our children's souls.

More than other programs in the area, Tyana formulates and communicates to parents an actual curriculum. We have experienced her curriculum to be based upon kindness and personal boundaries, play, movement, and a love for the environment. All this is mixed with basics like artistic and musical expression, letter and number recognition and formulation, as well as a solid foundation around personal safety at home and in the community. In addition, Tyana provides amble opportunities for the children to go on field trips around the community so that they gain experiential learning and trust outside of the family unit.

My husband and I feel so lucky that we found Mighty Acorns for Cameron, and our biggest piece of advice for local parents looking for a preschool, would be to reach out to Tyana sooner than later so their kiddos (and entire family!) can be a part of Tyana's carefully curated Might Acorns community.

Our son has really blossomed at Mighty Acorns. He is finishing his second year with Tyana and there is nothing more we could have wanted in an early childhood program for him. She and her co-teachers are kind, grounded, sincere, and have clear communication. Her curriculum is thoughtful and intentional and she is laying a strong foundation for these kiddos.

Wow, so where to start. Tyana and her wonderful Mighty Acorns preschool has been such an amazing blessing for our daughter and our family. Tyana is wonderful in every way, and all of us parents in her little community love her. Our daughter absolutely loves going to "school" and has such a great time with Tyana and the other kids. It is so clear that Tyana truly cares about the kids and goes above and beyond to give them a fun, warm, nurturing, and all around positive environment.

I could not imagine a better place for our daughter and we so hope that our Son gets to be a mighty acorn as well once he gets old enough. Thank you so much Tyana!!

Tyana is incredible! She creates a safe, loving and respectful environment where all the kiddos seem to absolutely thrive. She made my son feel safe when he was afraid to go to school and I will be forever grateful. This school is really sweet the vibe and not at all chaotic. I feel lucky we ended up here. My son is just about to finish his second year at Mighty Acorns before transitioning to kindergarten and we couldn't be happier with the experience we have had. Not only does Tyana provide safe, warm and compassionate care for each child, she gives them real world experiences with hands on learning and encourages students to be active stewards of the earth. Students here grow into kind, compassionate, curious adventurers. Since beginning at Mighty Acorns, my son has demonstrated extreme growth with problem solving, communication, compassion and willingness to try new things. I always know he is in good hands while at Mighty Acorns. I can't wait for my next little one to be old enough to become a Mighty Acorn herself.

Our daughter will finish her second full year at Mighty Acorns this year. We could not be more pleased with the program and family environment Tyana has created. Our daughter has blossomed, is constantly coming home with new insight, passion and energy from the things she has learned. Tyana takes the kids on interactive field trips, embraces and celebrates the local community, building the students into engaged, curious children ready to tackle kindergarten and life! We feel like our daughter goes each morning to a second home and look forward to hearing about her days adventures and lessons each evening!

Our kiddo is soon to finish her second year at Mighty Acorns and go off to kindergarten. We have loved the emphasis on compassionate communication, being stewards of the earth, and positively interacting with the community, both in and out of the preschool. She has learned so much (from letter recognition to life cycles) and her emotional growth has made leaps and bounds. It is a true home away from home, where she is really seen and appreciated for the unique human she is. Thank you, Tyana, for nurturing her so! We'll miss Mighty Acorns!
