I was given a Discovery Flight for 30 mins ground instruction and 30 mins flight time. The only previous experience I had was MSFSX. I went to the Marion IL airport facility. I learned a lot including a Cessna 172 is a nimble aircraft. The thermals were active and made the flight . . . interesting. The ground instruction lasted no more than 10 mins and the flight maybe 25 mins. But, overall I was satisfied. Will I go back? Not sure, but I'll think on it.
