Cute library, lovely kids area. Be warned though, despite a large kids area you & your children are expected to keep volume to a whisper. Anything louder and you will be constantly shushed (we were not screaming, I understand this is a library. But it’s hard to keep kids completely silent).

The clear majority of financial resources available to Lake County is spent in Middletown. Our supervisors do not represent our communities. Adult literacy in Middletown is no higher than the rest of Lake County. Very low.

The guy that works there is super nice. I used the computer for a very important test and I felt like I was in the privacy of my own home. Very comfortable place with low traffic. It's perfect!

Really nice library. Helpful staff, and you can return Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino county books here so that is a huge plus to me. They have computers and printers, cheap to if you need to make some copies too. A great resource that is fantastic to have in such a small community.

I love going here...it's small and cozy..can always get on a computer...the librarian there will help anyway she can and get you moving in the right direction
