This school is everything I could have asked for in a Montessori school. After visiting six other Montessori schools I found this school to be the true essence of a Montessori education with amazingly well qualified teachers. I am looking forward to the next two years of my daughter's attendance.

We were thrilled to discover this fabulous education resource in our own backyard - Meridian Learning and Tasha Ring are located literally 5 blocks from our house in Meridian-Kessler. Ms. Ring has training in the Lindamood-Bell approach and created a personalized program for our 7-year-old son who needed extra help with reading. He really enjoyed his coaching sessions with Ms. Ring and we observed dramatic, tangible progress in his reading capabilities. He ended his time with Ms. Ring reading well above grade level, and since then has sustained both a love for reading (he now reads an average of 30-50+ pages per day in his free time) and his excellent reading skills (not only keeping up with peers, but reading at a level that continues to be well above grade level). The tutoring rates were fair and reasonable, and much less expensive than some of the "franchise" learning centers scattered across Indy. The sessions took place in a delightful "one-room schoolhouse" that is tucked into a charming residential neighborhood near Butler University. Ms. Ring and Meridian Learning get our highest recommendation!

DETAILS: One-on-one reading coaching and tutoring for a 2nd-grade boy. Program consisted of two 55-minute sessions per week for an entire semester (Spring 2011). Special emphasis on Lindamood-Bell approach. Sessions took place from 5-6 pm in a cozy and charming "one-room schoolhouse" in a residential neighborhood very close to Butler University. Services provided by director and lead instructor Tasha Ring, M.Ed, a highly trained and professional educator.
