My review is early but so far it appears the process for care of a loved one has not begun after 48 hours of admission. My brother was transferred here for physical and occupational therapy but is only lying or sitting…while waiting to receive therapy. They really are slow with getting things off the ground. He came in on Tuesday evening. This is very disappointing!!
I was pleasantly surprised that after writing the rating paragraph above, the physical therapist came to his room and evaluated him. She was excellent!

Terrible place. Especially on the weekends. Lazy, They would tell my brother that they would get him up for breakfast and they wouldn't. They cussed at him. Wouldn't shower him. Didn't give him all of his meds at night. Left him on the floor too long. Wouldn't change him for a long time. He had to go to the Emergency room because he had a UTI infection and he got it because they weren't taking care of his catheter and the bag. I saw other patients that were treated the same way. It was one of the worst places my brother has ever experienced. They should be ashamed of themselves. I did call the Better Business office and told them. Please don't take your family members there

My parents are here, and it has been an awesome option. The staff are all super nice, and my parents love them. Yes, you don't always get everything you want right when you want it. It's a hard job, and they have staffing issues from time to time, etc. But overall you could not ask for more. We are very grateful this was an option for them. They could not be in better hands. I would highly recommend it. They have managed through the most difficult time nursing homes could ever face very well. I can't say enough about the facility or the awesome staff there.

Don't place your loved one here, my dad looks dirty all the time and uncared for and the staff isn't caring for him like they should they get him up in the morning and put him in a wheelchair and he sits in the hallway all day, I'm transferring him to another facility as soon as possible. Staff acts like they just really don't care, it's just an awful depressing place.

If there's no STAR, I would rate this "negative" place not even giving them an *iota. Disrespectfully aggressive to visitors, we were about to call Swansea officers for it. Mercy has to instill professionalism in their workforce here. Choose people who value "respect." Mercy, you can't cuddle employees who don't recognize "respect" as a moral Christian value and a centerpiece in cultivating good customer service. With no respect, you will fail and your clients will disappear.

The staff has suck passion for their work. There are some still learning, but are very good with the patients. Food has flavor and the environment is attractive. My dad received excellent attention.

Run away from this place. My mother checked in here to recover from a broken hip and died 6 weeks later from sepsis due to a skin lesion she received there. The nurses were okay the pt staff was good but the caregivers who changed my moms clothes and sheets were horrible. Rough treatment and no compassion whatsoever.

My mother has been here, clean,no smells, staff is excellent. The hirer ups are there to help you also....did I say friendly staff! Highly recommended.
