Where do I begin?! I am an alumni of Meraki Nail Tech School and when doing my research, this was my first and only research because of how convenient it was for me being in my neighborhood. Yes, you have to go in-person to receive information but you get to step into that ambience. It's an open enrollment so you start whenever you're ready. Their curriculum and payment layout is very detailed and self explanatory. There's literally no beating around the bush with anything! I take pride in graduating from here and will always recommend Meraki Nail Tech School to anyone in the Chicagoland area seeking their next step in the nail journey! Huuuge shout out to Ms Jess 💁🏽‍♀️ because besides being an outstanding teacher she was an amazing person!

Read the reviews about it being scammy decided to still call, not trying to believe everything I read and to give it a shot. It's true they don't give pricing over the phone I genuinely don't understand why..? I feel like as a professional business who's taking in students to pursue their dream, why not discuss price online or over the phone This school does seem very shady just alone on phone conversation made me turn away seems like they are hiding prices to students🤷. I haven't been in through a tour just cause they couldn't give me a price. They talk about attendance is big and expect students to be their which is why they don't give price. The excuses they give you on phone sounds really ridiculous in all honesty. I have already been to MULTIPLE school tours ranging from $7500 to $2,500 sometimes it's nice to know a rundown of the school BEFORE considering to come in for a tour. As a school/business this does not look good. I agree on the shady vibes.🤟
It's also funny that once they start getting bad reviews all of sudden these "students" post positive reviews. Where were they before the negative reviews..? Makes you wonder..

When you first call the school for pricing and info they do ask that you come into the school, which is perfectly fine because most schools do ask that you come in for information and tours. The sign up process was simple. When I first visited the school to get more information everything was explained, from the syllabus to the pricing. Everything was straightforward. I had visited three other schools prior and they all said to come in for pricing and information, this was the closest and is also fairly priced so I did choose this school and so far I’m happy I did!

I am a former student of Meraki Nail Tech school. For anyone who is thinking of joining, I strongly recommend! Compared to other schools that I've looked into, this one was my best choice. It comes with a friendly atmosphere, nice teachers who are attentive and helpful, lots of knowledge, affordable pricing and a reasonable time line for completion. It only takes a few months of your time, part-time or full-time (to your liking, very flexible) to complete 350 hours which are the state requirement in order to qualify for your license exam. Every upcoming student who takes the time to visit them personally, will get important info on the pricing, and contract that will be provided with the overview of all the lessons and things you will learn/need to have for your classes. Their lesson plans are very organized and neat; the teachers will always answer any questions you may have. Don't be wary due to the negative comments! If you are serious about becoming a nail tech, want to have fun doing so, and want to join a community who strives to make your dream a reality, this school is for you <3

I’m a current student at the school and really enjoy my time here. The onboarding process was super easy and it was a great perk that I was able to start asap instead of waiting for a certain date to start like many other places. Everyone can come in to inquire about the price of the course, how it’s structured, and upon enrolling, is given a t-shirt, a book and a starter kit. You pay the same amount as everyone else in the end, but I was able to modify my schedule and pay as you go to fit my lifestyle. The teaching is quality and I really like how the program was structured to accommodate everyone. Would definitely recommend!

I attended Meraki Nail school and had a fantastic experience! The instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about teaching. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering everything from basics to advanced techniques.

One thing to note: pricing details can't be discussed over the phone due to the extensive information about the program. But trust me, it's worth visiting the school to get the full overview!
The school's commitment to excellence and student success is evident. I gained hands-on experience, confidence, and a solid foundation for my nail career.

I decided to join this school in December of 2019. After doing my research of all the options available and visiting different schools. I decided Meraki was the best option for me not only because of how close it was to me, but I really liked that it was a small school so the attention would be better than a bigger institution.
The onboarding process was super easy and it took no more than 30 minutes.
I did have to come in person to receive price info and to fill out my contract however, that's another aspect I really liked as the interaction felt very personal and not transactional.

I loved coming to class every day as becoming licensed was something i had put off for a long time. Both my instructors Ms. Silvana and Ms. Brenda are very talented and passionate about the nail industry and made ths learning processes a breeze. The time flew by and before I knew it I was taking my stats exam and passed on the first try.

If you're looking for a school that focuses on small groups this is your best option 🥰
