I love all the group classes I attended so far especially aerobics by Tina (lovely music) and all Les mills and body pump by Kristy.
This place has given me a great sense of community as I am new to Evanston.
The staff in the front fest are the FRIENDLIEST and most helpful.

McGaw YMCA has been fabulous for my family. My daughter is making great progress with her swim lessons. It's so nice to have the two pools, especially the warm pool! It's super easy to reserve lanes and fitness classes via the MindBody app. The staff have all been super friendly, and the facility is nice and clean. Highly recommend! 🙂

I’ve been coming here for years to work out. They have awesome exercise equipment to fulfill my fitness goals. I often see people I know here and it’s a great feeling of being home here at the McGaw YMCA.

My family of 4 recently joined the McGaw Y specifically for the gym/kids club/kids activities. The kids clubs has amazing staff and our 3 and 6 year old boys truly enjoy going there while we work out. Shout out to Ms. Ellen in the kids club who the kids absolutely adore! The gym has everything we need and the family fun nights have been such a hit with our family. We look forward to trying the family swim and other classes. So many programs available and we are just excited to be a part of this friendly and welcoming atmosphere who all share the same goal of health and community awareness.

McGaw YMCA has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I have been a member for a little over a year and I thoroughly enjoy the classes I take. (Step Aerobics, Core Strength and Stretch and Body Sculpt.) I find the instructors well trained in their craft and they create a fun environment.

I’ve been going to the Y for years and they’ve never failed to disappoint. The moment I stepped foot inside the atmosphere has been nothing but warm and welcoming. Not only has the Y helped me with my fitness journey but my children love it too! (especially kids club and the pool) I highly recommend the Y to anyone who’s looking to start their health and wellness journey or to families who are looking for a welcoming place with something for everyone.

Have been coming here on and off for about 13 years and it's such a great, welcoming place! I'm a bigger gal and have always felt included. They have a great offering of classes and a very large fitness room. Not to mention all of the community programs they have to help others. I feel good giving my money to such a great organization!
