For a couple years straight this was, hands down, the best store in town. Employees were always kind and friendly, seemed like the kind of people who would give the shirt off their back to someone in need. I don’t know what changed. Maybe it’s Maveriks motto that customer service isn’t important. Maybe it’s what past and current employees have told me, the new GM is just awful. One things for sure, the vibe has changed and it’s not for the better. Tonight I went in for a bite after getting off work. For one, the cooler was practically empty. There was next to no grab and go food prepared. The same drinks on the fountain have been out of stock for weeks. The two employees sitting begging the counter didn’t give a damn when I told them they were out of fountain lids. Does the new management know how to order?or was she hired because she knows people? Either way in the last 5 months I haven’t seen the same employee twice. She must be getting hammered in turnover. If this is supposed to be the first stop on my adventure, I don’t to be a part of the rest of it

Dirty dirt bag store. Parking lot was disgusting. Toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom, no soap. Garbages overflowing inside. Tea leaking all over the counter. Saw one woman cleaning it all up while the other woman just stood around staring at her phone. She was rude as hell too. If you need to stop in Idaho Springs, go to Jenny's at the other end of town. The workers are polite the store is clean and they have a better selection of stuff.

Stopped in here briefly to get some gas and clean my windshield while on a mini road trip. The location was perfect, right off the side of the highway and the little town it was in was cool to drive around, too!

After saying no to the hot dogs that were obviously on the rollers many many hours past their time, I settled on some burritos that were made in the store. Got back on the road and later realized they were all expired. How silly of me to think that if they don't take their old hot dogs off the rollers, that they would take the old food out of their heaters.

The place was filthy. The trash was overflowing. They were out of every condiment you could think of.

I used to stop in here before when it was Kum & Go but apparently it has gone completely downhill.

The employees that are working in this store are completely unprofessional, pretentious, lazy and rude. We stopped in for fuel and a bite to eat. There were only 3 burritos in the case, 2 pieces of pizza in the carousel and all the hot dogs looked like they had been on the roller all day. They were cooked so much they were charred nd about to explode. I paid cash for my fuel and none of the employees explained that I needed the bar code from the receipt to get my left over money back of the vehicle didn't take all the fuel. I guess this company is okay with their employees stealing money from their customers.

This place was open on Thanksgiving and was a much needed rest stop. Conveniently located odd 71 via the Mt Evans exit. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection of drinks and snacks. Lots of gas pumps. Affordable gas prices.

Owns and hosts a Tesla charging station but allows non EV’s to park at charging spots. Nothing can be done with the parked internal combustion cars due to Maverick owners not having any posted signs to prohibit this type of parking.

It’s pretty dirty. Right off the highway but bathrooms are always dirty, trash cans overflowing, etc.
parking lot is challenging but you they have EV chargers and there’s a small area you can walk your dog, though it’s typically littered with trash as well.
