When we started with Matt several years ago he was cordial and professional. Over the past 2 years he has become angry and degrading. He comes across now like he hates his job and its a burden for him to answer any of our questions. Not sure what is going on with him. Bottom line: there are professionals in this town that are much more friendly and will treat you with respect when they do bussiness with you. Those are the people you want to go to....not Matt. ....

Matt Calhoun should be the President of the United States. But really, he was approachable, knowledgeable and efficient. I walked in with two businesses that has scattered bookkeeping and within a few weeks I was set up in Xero, all of my accounts feeding in correctly and all transactions classified. If there was ever a question, he was just a phone call away. When it came to tax preparation, the entire process was seamless. By using a secure online document system we were able to exchange documents with confidence. My taxes were completed in a very timely manner and I was educated on tips for future years. He rarely returns calls. Once was able to talk to Matt. Miraculously was able to make appointment in order to establish as a client. Took copies of all my personal tax information which he kept. He said he'd prepare my taxes, now he won't return my calls, has all my sensitive tax information. Scarey situation. He's very unprofessional and I do not trust him. Had to seek another montrose cpa to take my business to.
