Margaret is tremendous because her expertise in various levels of math meet the needs of my 10th grade high school son. He went from struggling to surviving to striving! He wants to keep building on what he is getting out of each session. During some more intense tests weeks, she has been able to find some extra time in the week to tutor! It has been a game changer. I believe her very skilled teaching methods and way she approaches each student with creativity allows the whole process to build a quality learning momentum, together. Margarets understands the variety of needs and skill sets each student come to her with and my son's new grades are VERY notable proof. Margaret works with your schedule the best she can and to a student who needs help, what better words heard are, "when can we start?" So grateful we found Margaret!

Margaret has been amazing to work with in helping our son through his journey in 7th and 8th grade in preparedness for high school entry. She is fun, easily relates to her students, knows her stuff, has a great understanding of principles and what's expected of kids at their grade levels, and provides great feedback to the student & parents. Margaret has been an amazing tutor for our 6th grade daughter. Margaret is warm, flexible and very informed when it comes to teaching math concepts. My daughter has improved her math knowledge significantly and it’s taken a huge stress off my plate having Margaret to help on a weekly basis. We will be continuing to use Margaret’s services throughout 7th Grade next year too.

I think that the most important part of selecting a tutor for your children is that the tutor connects with them in a way that makes learning enjoyable while not feeling intimidated or bored. I think that’s why Margaret has been so successful with our kids - they like the lessons and they enjoy her company as well. Plenty of tutors know the math, but many can’t relate to their students so that they don’t dread their sessions or become bored. We’ve also recommended Margaret to friends because of the positive experience we’ve had, and how prepared our kids are for their math lessons and tests at school.

We can't say enough about how effective Margaret has been working with our daughter. After many years of really loving math the transition to junior high was challenging and our daughter. She struggles with ADHD and started to disengage and get frustrated in math. We were recommended to Margaret at the end of 6th grade and have worked with her consistently for over 9 months. Not only is our daughter performing A level work- she is really enthusiastic about math again. Margaret's ability to communicate the "whys" of math to her were critical in her understanding. On the parental side of things I was able to really get insight into how our daughter learns due to Margaret's detailed emails of progress, struggles and successes. We are so thankful and strongly recommend her tutoring services.

Simply the best!!!! My daughter had a hard time understanding math concepts until Margaret. Margaret changed everything. She has an amazing personality that allowed her to connect with my daughter and made Ellen fall in love with math, start getting straight A’s in math, and ask for more.
