Mary is an amazing tutor. I found her online and called her for help with my 13 year old son. He needed help with Language Arts and organizational skills. We were struggling with some issues with the teacher as well. She was very responsive and kind in answering all my questions about tutoring and helping my son. Mary helped us with how to handle the issues with the teacher and staff in a kind and effective manner. She helped my son with his organization in class and being able to accomplish his assignments in a way that he could understand. While also teaching him how to help himself with her teaching methods moving forward in his education. Mary has a way with kids. She helps them find their confidence in learning. She is able to see how best to help them learn and what makes them thrive. She is an amazing woman. She helped my son open up when his teachers had shut him down. Mary is absolutely wonderful! She helped my high school senior with math skills needed to pass the Accuplacer test for high school competency requirements for graduation. He started out convinced he was too far behind to ever pass and was skeptical of liking any tutor. Mary not only showed him he could do it, he enjoyed working with her and would love to work with her in the future if needed. He passed the test after just 2.5 months of tutoring. We are so happy to have found her!
