Let's just say that all 3 years I attended here ........ was Dope! The teachers were great! The School offered many activities for students to Take part in and had awesome clubs! I will never forget this school .... it also had so much culture ...it was just super fun and I loved it....don't know if it's the same now tho. A lot of the teachers and staff that taught at Marina while I attended have left.

So far my daughter loves the school. She is in 6th grade and in the performing arts magnet. The teachers are awesome. The performances are professional, it's amazing how much talent these kids have. Or should I say what the school brings out in them.

Being a student at Marina Del Rey currently, I would say there have been it's ups and downs during my two years. I have experienced both Marine Science and Magnet and I would say that being haf black and half white, it was hard trying to fit in. I would be discriminated for looking white. Also some of the teachers are very rude and one teacher Ms.West had made me cry in front of the vice principal. Speaking of the vice principal- He is very rude to the adults and parents. He also yells at the children. Also there are a ton of fights at the school. I would reccomened parents to consider these things before enrolling their children into the school. I am not saying there aren't good things about Marina Del Rey. In fact, the education at the school is amazing. They also put the phones in pouches (which im not a huge fan of) so the kids wont be distracted during instruction. Also the dean and councilers are always available when needed.

Had a goood time here in my younger days class of 2006 good teachers Mr. Walls. If I could go back in time I would. Enjoyed the views of jet liners taking off from LAX.

I am a student at Marina del Rey and let me say that this school is not the best choice.. I much perfered a different school for anyone's child.
