Maranathan Academy is a great school for young and older adults. With that, it gives everyone another opportunity to get an education. In the past, I wanted to give up on obtaining my education. However Maranathan Academy encourage and motivated me to finally obtain my high school diploma. Completing this program makes me feel like I can accomplish the world.

Maranathan Academy has been a game-changer for me. While attending I was working a full-time job and taking care of a sick child. Maranathan Academy was a blessing from God. I procrastinated for years after dropping out of high school. Ms.Dukes and Mrs.Tolbert were my guardian angels in this process. I am a current student at Maranathan Academy.Not everyone get this opportunity in life.With a second chance to receive their high school diploma.But the Director Mrs.Dukes accepted me into this program, and I am really grateful.I also have a wonderful teacher Dean Tolbert who goes above and beyond for her students,to make sure that we understand the concepts of what she's teaching to her students. My experience with Marantha Academy has been unique. My instructor Dean Erica Tolbert makes our learning experience in class very pleasant.
My classmates and instructor are like family, Ms.Tolbert makes our learning experience fun. She breaks our work assignments down so that we can understand our work.
I appreciate Ms.Dukes for allowing me to join Marantha Academy because it gives me another opportunity to better my life. The program is not complex if you put your best foot forward you will make it.
One thing about it you must put time and effort into what you want. They're here to help us better ourselves.

I came in this program with my doubts
because life was very challenging for me. I was scared that the process was going to be very hard however, it turned out to be a great experience. My teacher and classmates pushed me to be better. Not everyone takes a chance to make a difference in the lives of young people for whom others have said there is no hope. This is an urban school positioned to be there for young people who need a second chance to succeed. I have witnessed lives transformed and children grow up to be successful because of Ms. Dukes and her efforts. For 23 years, Maranathan Academy has been doing something right.
