I have been taking lessons with Lyle for quite a few months now and it has been an amazing experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He teaches/explains technical and theory concepts in ways that can't be taught by just watching random videos on YouTube. Youtube instruction can only take you so far. From the age of 8 until I had to leave for college at 18, I took guitar lessons from Lyle. He taught me more than just guitar but also a love for music, art, and life in general. Lyle is a great guitar teacher. My daughter started taking lessons at the start of 2020 and he was great through everything. He has helped her grow in her love of music as well as with confidence to learn her guitar. He is very patient and is willing to let the students go at their pace. In my opinion Lyle is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable guitar teachers out there. I hadn’t picked up a guitar in over 30 years. After looking for someone to help me pick it up again I found Lyle. He knew exactly the direction I needed to go and taught it in a way that works well for me and continues to do so.
