What a delightful tour I got of this beautiful shop today. Not only where the personnel friendly, they were excited about their newly designed space, which they had just finished re-organizing. It is a treat just to walk through it and see all of the items that they have available to enhance the beautiful yarns that they display throughout the store. A quality place, where people take pride in their product and they even have a special area for community to get together and crochet projects. Can’t wait to come back for a visit soon. if you’re in Longmont, it’s well worth the visit.

Yarn galore! It’s the perfect place for getting into many different kinds of projects-knitting, crocheting, spinning yarn, felting and more. I’m a mid-level knitter and they have a great selection of yarns and beautiful samples. The staff is helpful and the store has a nice little membership program that gives you discounts after a certain number of purchases. Cozy and welcoming, I’ll be coming back again for sure.

I need to edit this review because it was too short and simple. I really, REALLY love this store. They have a great selection of yarns and frequent trunk shows from both "big name" companies and independent creators. I especially love to see the local ones there! The staff is fabulous and always willing to help find what you're looking for or offer advice on a project you're struggling with. They have a great selection of classes at very reasonable prices. In short, I love LYS. 😊❤🧶

I absolutely love this store! I went in today to get some felt and needles and to ask about their knitting classes. The two employees who helped me were so kind and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back to buy yarn and take some classes 😀

It is OK in a pinch. But, I’ll still drive all the way to Denver for the community and positive creative vibes at Fancy Tiger. I’ve tried for five years to like this store and engage at their events. It just has a seriously insular vibe. Making a purchase always takes forever too.

Been to many yarn shops on many continents and LYS does not disappoint. Tons of high-end wool/yarns with even more knowledge and expertise makes this a must while visiting the Denver/Boulder area. It's in Longmont about 10 miles from Boulder and about 40min from downtown Denver. It's not far from Estes Park either. Knitters, crocheters, spinsters and needlers should make an effort to visit this wonderful establishment which also has knitting groups, classes and organizes workshops and retreats. FYI, I don't give many 5 Stars. This one is certainly merited. Highly recommend!

I recently visited with my 4-year old just to pick up a new cable needle and check out the shop. Within minutes, they had my kiddo whisked away with a homemade cookie and a craft to work on. I was able to browse with the supportive staff and selected some truly beautiful yarn for a new shawl project. This shop is truly a gem and I look forward to many more visits- and so does my kiddo!

This is one of the best yarn shops in the Front Range area! Gail and her staff have created a warm and welcoming environment for anyone who stops by. They have a variety of yarns across all weights, spinning and needle felting supplies, all the needles and notions, buttons galore, and so much more. Their classes and events are super fun and it's also a nice place to just sit and knit for a bit. Make sure you stop by when you're in Longmont!
