I have used Lone Star Learning for 10 years now and I have encouraged other grade levels to use it also. This is my first year using the virtual component and my students absolutely love it!

The new Lone Star Plus covers most of the new testing platforms and provides my students with daily experience so the STAAR won't be so intimidating. The only draw back is the word problems can't be read to them.

Lone Star Learning Target Math has been a wonderful resource for my classroom. The work is time consuming for second graders; however, each day we seem to increase our speed. I would love to be able to display the cards larger and print the student copies larger for my little ones.

I use Lone Star Learning reading and language arts everyday for a warm up. I pull it up on our whiteboard. After weeks of modeling it, now I have student warm up leaders who use the program to lead their peers through the program. Lone Star has worked for my 4th graders as evident through higher test scores. I appreciate the editing, revising, and writing aspects of the language arts area. Lone Star has saved me a lot of time and stress.

I love Target Math because it doesn’t take a lot of time out of our short math block, but covers everything that will be on our STAAR test. When I get to a concept during the school year, students have already been practicing it on target math, so they’re familiar what I’m about to teach. I use it as my daily warm up.
