We love this school. The teachers are committed and so kind, they truly care about the kids and put in tremendous work to make the classroom a great learning environment. They know my children well, and I have always experienced cooperation from the leadership of the school as well. It is a smaller school that has allowed us to get to know the other families involved in the school, a true community for our children. Yes, there is a dress code, and action taken when the rules aren't followed and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Ignore the hater reviews posted by incredibly disrespectful and immature students. This school is amazing.
Both of my kids attend this school and enjoy it quite a bit. The classroom sizes are smaller than public schools meaning my kids get extra attention from their teachers they would never get in a traditional public school. Not because those teachers are poor teachers, they just have too many students.
The expectations placed on Littleton Academy Students is incredibly high, but the students consistently rise to the occasion and meet those expectations. There's a reason why Littleton Academy students consistently score some of the highest marks each year in statewide testing.
The teachers and staff at Littleton Academy know each student by name, care about every one of them, and work very hard to make sure they have a good educational environment. I see it every day when I drop them off at school, and when my kids tell me about their day during dinner.

I can't recommend this school enough.

I have three kids at this school and it is amazing. Mrs. Russell works harder then anyone I know, attending events for all grades and meetings well after school is closed. Yes, there is homework but that is why the school ranks so well, the students end up being a year ahead of other kids when they go to high school. As for the middle school students that have written negative reviews, yes middle school is hard, but ask any adult and NOBODY enjoys middle school growing up. Hang in there, it gets better.

I was a student at Littleton Academy for two years (seventh and eighth grade). My positive memories of the school were few and far between. Bullying was rampant, and the administration -- which typically was excessively tyrannical about the minutest of details -- made absolutely no effort to quell it. I was fortunate enough to be in the final graduating class to have been taught by all the best teachers the school had and following a stable curriculum. The school certainly was very academically strong, but with academic excellence came an incredibly elitist culture. If you weren't perfectly aligned with the status quo, you were eaten alive. I can't think of a single type of person to whom I would recommend this school. If you have a smart child and care about their mental health, it's best that you just enroll them in the honors program of any other school.

I am a parent of two previous students. Academically, the school did a great job preparing kids for a high level education. The school used to have many of the best teachers but somehow managed to lose a lot of them. However both my kids were so miserable at this school. One of my kids hated this school so much and hated going to school everyday since when he was in 3rd grade. He became depressed toward the end of his 6th grade. We made the hardest decision by pulling him out from this school at the end of 7th grade. He is now mentally healed and is a totally different kid. Needless to say that he is so happy and finally becoming a normal kid now and started to love school again. He talked good about his new school all the time which is something we have never heard from him in the past. Read the signs from your kids. Don't put them in the situation they hate. Rigor education alone can hurt the children if the method is not executed properly for your kids. Unhappy children don't foster the love of learning. Unfortunate events can unfold from forcing your kids in the place they hate. If your kids are happy at this school, it is definitely a win win situation for you.

I spent my 7th and 8th grade years here, and had mixed feelings about it. Some teachers were really great, and none of them were bad, but there were a few kids who were treated badly and the administration fired a few really great teachers. Overall, it is a good place for academics but not that good socially.

Great school academically but they seem to be concentrating on the dress code as opposed to their bullying problem been dealing with that for 4 years. And the administration does nothing about it except try to sweep it under the rug. They do not practice what they preach.

I went to this frickin Kentucky fried piece of school for 9 mother truckin years. I never thought one could hate something with such a burning passion. I woke up ever morning just wondering if it was possible for this day to be worse than the last. The answer, yes. Don't get me wrong, the school has a few amazing teachers. For example, my nig Jay L and Mr. Graeber. But this school has some mad whack rules. Like I got a flipping infraction for having white socks with one red stripe down the back and I was wearing mother truckin pants. For the most part this school is way too strict and has the dumbest rules. The only reason I would recommend attending Littleton Academy is to be able to expierence having Mr. LeBlanc as a teacher. He is a truly wonderful man and inspires our youth to be better people in and out of the classroom.
