My grandson had completely failing grades, was not reading, and had no interest in academics at all. His behavior was poor in school because he could not keep up, his needs weren't being met AND it was a place he had zero success. "Miss Kathy" began by evaluating his IEP which she found did not address his needs. She started by building his confidence through games and academic exercises. He loved going to tutoring (the kid who hated school). We started in the summer and this first marking period he got straight A's on his report card. He bragged he was the ONLY student in his class who got an "A" in library. He actually likes to read now! I cannot say enough about this program. It is worth the investment!

The effects of virtual learning during COVID really set us back in ELA. We were in need of a thorough tutor, one who would go back to the fundamentals and phonics of ELA and build our daughter up from there. Lightbulb Learning did just that! In a short period of time our daughter’s teachers seen progress and reading became something she independently became excited about. We could not be more thankful, this center is truly a gem. Empowerment and confidence are also learned here. Thank you Lightbulb Learning for helping not just my family but all the families you serve.

Ms.Kathy and everyone at the learning center are AMAZING! My 2nd grader has been working with Ms. Kathy for nearly a year and I am extremely satisfied with the progress that my 2nd grader is making. I have seen a huge improvement with reading, comprehension and a boost in confidence, she is more comfortable with reading than she was a few months ago. What I love the most is the environment and the setting of the learning center! Ms. Kathy loves teaching and shows! We appreciate all your hard work very much!

Ms. Kathy has done wonders with my daughter. She has helped build her confidence, developed her ability to advocate for herself as well as improve academically. Today my daughter brought home a Distinguished Honor Certificate for superior academic achievement and I give all the credit to Ms. Kathy.

Ms Kathleen is a great reading tutor. She has been working with my daughter for over 6 months. Not only has my daughter reading skills improve greatly so has her confidence. Your work with her has paid off this school year, not only in her grades but it has also landed her a spot in a very good private school. Thank you for all your hard work. Ms. Kathleen, we appreciate you!

My daughter has been attending Lightbulb Learning Center for 1 year (since Kindergarten) and I can say it has been such an amazing experience. Nylo has grown in so many areas as far as academics. Ms Kathy is the most amazing and professional teacher and tutor I have ever encountered. She stays on top of me as well as Nylo. Always reassuring and making sure we are making good use of our time. When nylo first started our biggest concern was reading. I didn’t know how to get her started or where to even teach her how to learn how to read. Ms Kathy reassured me that Nylo would do fine and be reading in no time and she did just that! Nylo recently has been accepted into private school and scored a 93% in the reading/spelling portion of the exam. I am so grateful to Ms Kathy for taking her time, dedication and patience with my baby girl. We did it .. we are officially in Private school.

Thank you Ms Kathy for everything. if you are ever looking to send your child to an amazing family like fun and learning center. PLEASE DON’t hesitate, Lightbulb Learning Center is the place to go (:

My son attended lightbulb literacy the year leading up to kindergarten! I wanted to see his phonetic skills improve and we got that and some at lightbulb literacy. The work he was given was catered to his needs, allowed for a confidence boost, and he academically excelled once he did go to kindergarten! Along with making so many great friends and connections. We love lightbulb literacy & recommend Kathy and her staff to anyone looking for a tutor for their child! ⭐️

My daughter started with lightbulb at the start of third trimester this year because I had concerns about reading motivation and reading comprehension. Within 8 weeks, my daughter’s reading and writing has improved tremendously. Reading score improved from a 60% to 92% and she made Honor Roll (2nd honors) for the third trimester. We owe it all to Ms. Kathy & the lightbulb team.
