I grew up at this school attending between 1st and 5th grade. Legacy does not have regard for children’s mental health whatsoever. Eight years after leaving myself I am hearing about experiences my family members currently enrolled are going through; getting bullied by peers and even staff, as well as not being challenged academically, and when they try to speak to those in charge to make a change they essentially get told that they can go elsewhere and there are more schools to pick from. It is unfair to children to have to grow up in such an environment, one that has still negatively affected my peers and I who went to this school together in the past. If you want to visit your child during their sports practices to watch them grow and excel in their sport and experience these moments you have together during this pivotal time in their lives, that’s not allowed! If you want to visit a teacher who impacted your childhood, not allowed! I do not recommend sending your child here at all unless you want to truly screw them over in their future.

I went to this school k-5 and it was BAD. For one the students are mean to each other and bully each other on the daily. They called my daughter a liar and a mean girl for sharing toys with a friend while the other students took them away. There is a lot of drama even among the teachers, students, and parents. If something happens you will be sent to the security guard and he will try to be a counselor but in the end choose sides. The social interaction is being killed by ipads. If you want your kid to be happy send them elsewhere.

I have been very unimpressed by this school. They won’t let parents in the building, the teachers won’t let you come and talk to them about concerns, I feel like I have no idea what is going on behind the doors because they won’t let parents be involved with anything. They will happily do Nerf night and let people into the schools for that because they charge $$$ for it, but they won’t let the parents come to the Christmas recital? Or even in to speak to the teachers, or to pick up our childrens lost and found items. They have not done a single fun event for the children like other schools do, like a Halloween parade, or a carnival, but you can all gather around the flag pole and pray for the school. It’s ridiculous and I’m very frustrated with how they handle everything. I get that we are still dealing with Covid, and they will say that all of those things are because of Covid but I’m not buying it, they don’t bother to have anyone wear a mask or even tell you when your child has been exposed, so they don’t seem to care much about Covid in the first place.
