Mrs Hobbs has been tutoring my daughter for over 6 months. She not only helps with homework, reviewing for tests but has also reinforced skills that were not completely mastered. When needed, Mrs. Hobbs has been in contact with my daughter's teacher to better understand how she can help her outside of the classroom.
Mrs. Hobbs is able to teach in a way that my daughter understands.
My daughter's grades have improved as well as her confidence in her abilities. She is not stressed about school as much and believes in herself more. That outcome has been well worth every check we've written to Learning Unlimited!

I have been bringing my daughter to Mrs. Hobbs for a few months now. I have seen the most amazing results in just a short time. She started off testing about a year and a half behind at school, her confidence level was completely low and very depressed. I have seen such huge transformations in her in such a short time. Since pre-school, my daughter has been struggling with reading. By 2nd grade, she had developed many coping strategies to fool her teachers that she could read; only her testing revealed she was having significant comprehension issues. At the end of 3rd grade, a friend recommended Marion; she tested my daughter, utilizing more nationally standardized testing (not the junk being taught in Colorado) and tested her at mid-3rd grade level. We started immediately with Marion, who saw and understood the lack of confidence and the poorly served coping strategies my daughter utilized. Now, my daughter beams with confidence, loves math and has shown tremendous improvement with reading and comprehension. Marion has been an overwhelming support for my daughter as well as the reason for my daughter's new found success in school. My daughter looks forward to working with Marion. I would recommend her to anyone child/parent who is frustrated with homework, notices struggles that the school/teacher is not addressing or is looking for a one on one positive learning experience to supplement to their childs' education.

Thank goodness for this team of educators! My 17 year old daughter has a dream to enlist in the Air Force. However the initial testing had her falling a bit short on the math portion of the test, Algebra, trigonometry, etc. Marian"s team assessed Emma and quickly formulated a plan to guide her to success! After just 2 weeks of tutoring and guided study habits, she passed with flying colors! A huge thank you to Marian and her team for helping make Emma's dream come true! She has progressed in the process and will soon be off to boot camp and a proud member of our military. We cannot be more grateful!

We are extremely grateful for the team at Learning Unlimited. Our highly functioning autistic son was a senior in high school. He was failing several classes and felt overwhelmed that he was not on track to graduate. He thought there was no hope. After seeking the services of Learning Unlimited, and the help of one of their tutors, they gave our son hope, and was able to help him get back on tract, they figured out a way to motivate our son to work really hard to completed all his missing assignments. With encouragement from the tutor, our son was given direction on how to seek help from his teachers and ask for opportunities to make up work. We were extremely pleased to see our son graduate, and saw a confidence in him that he was able to see all his hard work pay off.
