If you are in need or searching for a group of dedicated individuals that are truly passionate about your child's educational growth and development; search no more. I highly recommend the Learning Horizon Academic Tutoring and Education Consulting Services.
Ms. Howard, is highly qualified (over 25 years in the MDCPS system). She is extremely professional, organized, accommodating; but most of all she loves children. My daughter's reading ability and confidence grew tremendously while working with Ms. Howard. She is now a honor roll student and I am extremely grateful to all the staff.

Ms.Howard is very professional & proficient with her services. She promotes positivity in each of her students. Ms.Howard provides both a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities and a very safe learning environment. Students are pushed to learn and try out new competencies. Ms. Shunda is one of the most amazing teachers/ student advocate I have ever met. She embodies everything required to assist any child at any level to excel. She is loving and caring, clear and concise, yet no nonsense.....the focus of her interaction with every child....is to see that child excel academically. Owner and Assistant are professional and extremely passionate about the children that they service. Communication Lines are always open and transparent with the parents. My child has continued to make great strides!! The best investment ever has always been in my child!!

Ms. Howard and her staff at Learning Horizon Academic Tutoring made all the difference in the life of me and my son. He was struggling in ELA and his confidence was at an all time low due to having a difficult time with online school and the lack of support from his teacher during the Covid lockdown. After a only few session I saw a dramatic difference in William’s grades and confidence. She is an plethora of knowledge and wisdom as to navigating the highly complex world of IEP’s and 504’s and willingly shares the information to help all parents. Ms. Howard is a godsend!!!

Since my son has been going here, his learning skills have improved. Ms. Shonda and Ms. Kim do a great job in helping him and the other kids. Great place to bring your kids to help in areas they are having difficulty in.
