Very dedicated local group working to maintain and expand hiking and trail options in Lassen County. Interesting little museum at the old Railroad station too. From here you can walk the railroad grade along the Susan River or take the Susan River Park trial to the east.

Train museum and trailhead for the Bizz Johnson National Trail. The 22 Mile trail follows an old railroad track up to Susan River to Westwood . Great for walking biking and horses. And dogs too.

Went here for a chili cook-off. They had an old pump railcar to try out. Fun for the kids. This depotbis also the head of the Bizz Johnson Trail.
