I love what I have experienced so far. It has really made a difference in my life! On a different note, though, I dont think that having a policy of a $35 fee to change the dates, in a situation that was totally beyond my control to avoid, is good business. I think its an unfair policy. Everyone I have come in contact with in the organization is great....so if "corporate" is listening, I think your representatives would appreciate some flexibility on this. And your customers. Otherwise, 5 stars.

I'll be honest here. Their programs are amazing. I can say for sure that I have a totally new view of my life and everything feels easier even though I am now getting much more done. It has up-leveled my life in SO MANY ways. I would so highly recommend the programs. What I can say is that they will never stop calling you. They call about once a month to tell about upcoming things and I always say to please take me off the list. It truly is a SMALL price to pay for the freedom I have found in my life by what I got at the forum. DO IT!

The first day of the forum was the beginning of a life changing transformation. After that it appears that it's solely about recruiting more participants for the next forum. I feel this could be an awesome opportunity for multiple breakthroughs if the focus remained on the forum and not using recruits to recruit. Referral is automatic when the objective is inevitably guaranteed. My excitement diminished once I realized the forum wasn't about teaching me how to love the life I live but more about teaching me to recruit others to love the life they live, and so on.

I was invited to Tuesday night ceremony by my ex boyfriend which in order to complete the forum was to bring friends family coworkers to the last day of it which was Tuesday night. I went to support my ex boyfriend. I then got the talk about what it was, how much it was, and heard some of the ways the landmark had changed there lives. My ex boyfriend which we are also really good friends and have a son together called me during the forum and he seemed happier. I thought he was taking drugs, or that the forum was a cult. The speaker on Tuesday was Jerry. I listened to him and other people about it and thought these people are payed actors no way it has impacted there life that much it must be a hoax. Then my ex told me he would pay for me to take it... I said why not. I had no idea how life changing it would be for me. I wanted to cancel up to the day I was going. I thought of a way to lie to my ex saying I went but didn't. But I knew he would know if I didn't go and having that lie over my head I didn't want to feel guilty about. So I went. The first day was the hardest part. I now know why it's very long and the way it is back to back days. If I had only went through the first day and had to wait another week to do the second day I honestly would have not gone back. I even told people it wasn't worth there time to invite people to Tuesday or even to show up! By the end of Sunday I then went back to those people that I told them not to go Tuesday that I was wrong! They need to go this is for there life saying they actually accomplished something in life, if you have never accomplished anything before say you accomplished this class. Even if you can't get anyone to go with you Tuesday support yourself and the people you took the class with it makes a huge difference. I am so much happier in life after the forum. I have been living in fear of my past, and how people view me. When in reality it doesn't matter I now view myself as I have a world of possibilities I can create anything. I'm a dangerous human that is on fire for life!! I have meaning because I choose to have meaning for myself!! Go!!! No matter what the cost. I made excuses of why I couldn't do the advance forum but I'm finding money whatever way I can because this program is just that great!!! Thank you!!!mi

I did the Forum in 1992, and I still say it's one of the most beneficial things I ever did for myself and my family. The tools you get from going through the program are priceless. You see yourself, your life, those in your life, and your possibilities in a new way. I highly, highly recommend it.

I didn't realize that once i paid for my session with them that somehow they thought that they owned me. I took the landmark forum and it was helpful and I signed up for the advanced forum and then things got nuts. and not with the coaches but these other people who are in charge. i thought it was weird during my landmark forum session that i went to my car to drop off my dirty smoothie bottle and grab a bottle of water and they followed me to my car to make sure that i got back in the class. it was strange and i thought it is an anomaly and nothing to be so concerned about. Then during my advanced forum session, i miss scheduled it, my kids dad was not able to take my kids for the weekend and it happen to fall on my daughter's birthday. I coordinated my kids but i could not focus during the workshop, I couldn't imagine my daughter having to handle her birthday party on her own and I went and spoke with the woman who is in charge, and her name is Maddy, told her my dilemma and her response was "i don't care, .... did you know know that this would fall on your daughter's birthday? you knew the dates and now you want to make it into my problem? ..why don't you "enroll" your kids? you're just a human and what is your trump card that you can't show up for yourself? .... " i told her that i was not asking her to make this into her problem, that i don't need her permission to make my own decisions but that i thought it was my responsibility to inform whoever in charge the issue that i am facing and wanted to know what my options were. I asked her if what would happen if I missed Saturday session and if that is okay, then she said that it would not be worth it for me to finish the session if I missed Saturday, we never even got to if I can miss half a day to at the least be with my kid. I asked her if she had a child, and she said no. I asked her if she would get off of "code talk" and talk to me like a human. I was so angry, I did not realize that by paying for my session would mean that I signed some contract that they can be this controlling. Does self help workshop actually work when you are being bullied into it by the institution? Maddy has made this institution into a joke. I hope that if they continue to do this work that they find someone who has more humility and compassion to truly 'enroll' people back to the program.

Having been through the program and having known people who both liked and did not like what the Forum had to offer, what I would say is what I observed from each. From those who did not like the forum, they got hung up on money and what they told themselves about money. At that point they are no longer teachable. If you get hung up on money just ask them how they use it. You might find that opening centers in other countries is actually walking the talk of changing the world. I have seen things that cost $25K for education on just one topic, and people are complaining about $600 for something that affects all aspects of life? As one person said, it is worth $6 billion if you actually participate. If you don't, then you're not teachable. Also, these people took the course over 10 years ago. Any company worth their salt will continually improve, and I believe it has. Really, when people who didn't like the course tell me about it, I swear we weren't in the same course. And perhaps the instructor makes a difference. The leader I had, Michelle, was phenomenal, and I know she is relatively new to the Denver location and wasn't in the Denver location over ten years ago. I personally believe that everyone who has taken it before should come back and take it again. It's like a brand new course. So what I would recommend is to take the course if you are hungry and teachable. If you aren't, come back when you are.

Update: I have actually volunteered in the Finance Team since finishing the Curriculum for Living, and I can attest to the fact that their financials show a dedication to the work they do. Absolutely nothing they spend money toward is frivolous; everything is bought with a purpose and the staff is volunteer.

IF YOU NEED AN EVEN-HANDED REVIEW OF LANDMARK...
I'm very torn how to review Landmark. The Forum was a truly transformative experience for me and kicked started my personal growth and development. It changed my life. Through the forum I changed my relationship with my dad overnight, from fairly distant to an amazingly close relationship that remains to this day. I got closure around my mother's death from cancer. I found a level of happiness and self-compassion I never thought possible. The next 5 month I was unstoppable at work. I was hooked. I took the advanced course, started volunteering etc.

As I became more involved with the company I started to see a much darker side to Landmark. Stories from the other negative reviews are common after the forum. Extreme pressure to enroll people in Landmark, dogmatic and single minded thinking, dehumanizing behavior. Plus the more I hung around the employees and volunteers I realized how unstable a lot of them truly were, many of whom seemed to be continually chasing that high you get after initially doing the forum.

After years of development and spiritual practice I can say that Landmark is an excellent "Level 1" course for anyone who feels stuck, who wants more out of life but just doesn't know how to get there. If you decide to do it, GO ALL OUT! Do the homework assignments! Don't let salesmanship ruin it for you. Accept that you will be confronted and that's what you paid for. I have very mixed feelings about Landmark as a company but the Forum is downright amazing.

After Landmark I strongly encourage you to incorporate it into your OWN UNIQUE PRACTICE. Don't buy into the mentality that if you don't do it their way you're doing it wrong. Explore other modalities and see what suits you. If you feel called to do the other courses go for it! I would caution you against any teaching or spirituality that relies on dogmatic thinking or behavior but at the end of the day it what resonates with YOU that's important.

Good luck on your Journey✨
