We are a mexican family and our son is currently in his second year at Lake Tahoe Preparatory School. Since the first phone call and then skype interview the staff was incredibly supportive and made us feel welcome from day one. We then went to visit and found exactly what we had suspected from the call, an incredible staff, amazing place and setting and impressive understanding of teenage behaviours and wonderful classrooms and academic programs. Our son has been extremely happy there, when we talk to him he tells us about different activities and he absolutely loves the skiing program. We, as parents, have always felt that our son is safe there and the rules are always clear and it makes it easier for our son because he knows what the school expects from him. The study halls are a good tool for our son and the help in all the academic subjects is always available which helps him thrive in his grades. The setting of the school is beautiful, right there on the mountain and the dorms are cozy. I totally recommend this school to any parent that is looking for a small personalized education for his son or daughter. We have seen our son grow with a sense of who he is and at the same time feeling accepted and loved by friends and staff members.

SVA has a beautiful campus in close proximity to many outdoor recreational opportunities for the students. The skiing is fabulous The academics are rigorous and prepare the students well for college. As parents, we are very impressed with the administration and the support they offer students and families.

Wir haben die Schule diesen Sommer besucht und waren sehr beeindruckt. Die Schüler scheinen sehr glücklich zu sein und der Campus ist wunderschön. Wir hoffen, dass wir bald unsere Tochter anmelden können. Danke, SVA!Wir sahen das Fitnessstudio und die Studenten zu einem sehr niedrigen Preis Ski fahren und private Turnhallen in der Gegend besuchen. Es gibt eine elektronische Bibliothek, in der Studenten Zugang zu Publikationen und JSTOR haben. Wir nahmen an der Abschlussfeier teil, bei der alle Schüler ein akkreditiertes amerikanisches Diplom erhielten.
