We loved it here! Stayed in room #314
Cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. And going to the shops and grocery store is highly convenient.
-Being able to access game boards at our own discretion and risk would have been nice.... Considering that option was removed for us because of (COVID). Guests should be able to decide their own risks of playing board games.
- The controller didn't have batteries for the DVD player... We managed to press the button on the DVD player itself. And we only watched DVDs for one night so there was no need for us to request batteries from the office.
We were quite comfortable. And we had the best experience.

My wife and I stayed at the apartment for a week. Both of us work during the day time. The place is comfortable. Wi-Fi is fast enough for remote office work. Staff is friendly. The place is quite. Kitchen is adequate. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It is more than enough. The TV sets are not high definition, but it does have Direct TV channels. Overall, our experience was positive.

I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful location, perfect condo and kindness of the staff. My grandchildren had a wonderful time in the pool with the beautiful mountains behind us! You won't be disappointed in this quiet getaway!

First impression was the dirty wooden stairs up to the entrance door. They needed painting but in the weather that was ok. Just wish it wasn't getting me dirty when I held onto the rail. Hot days there in Sept. No Air conditioning. I didn't realize that when I booked it. Clean unit and pretty well kept, except for the ceiling fans that wobbled so much you worried they'd come crashing down. Office notes said do not contact maintenance unless it's an emergence, so we didn't complain. We were worrying if the fans would fall on us. Master Fan only ran on high or off. No ice maker that would have been nice but not a big deal. Bought ice at Stater Bros. Unit was well furnished, but I did think it would be bigger in the living areas by the pictures. Very tight around the 8 chair dining table between the wall and stair rail. Very tight little deck patio. BBQ was used by us and was good. Living area should have had a ceiling fan and better lighting. Beds were a bit hard, but decor was good and unit very clean. Bottom step at unit 147 is a concrete block and you are exiting onto uneven ground in the driveway. Stairs go up to living area and down to bedrooms. With that and the dozen or more stairs up to the front door you need to be in shape to stay here. WE had a good time despite heat. We opened all windows at night and used our own fans to blow in the outdoor cool air. Ran them all night and then closed up the condo at 10am and kept fans running. Got tired of fans hitting us with air and our eyes drying out, but it was the only way to stay cool. Visited the Village and ate at Belgian waffle works, great food. At the Tuesday fish and chip special $13.99 at SAddleback Grill, looked like an old irish pub built in 1917, I think. Love the treats at Jensens market in Blue Jay. Friends went hiking.

Unit was clean and well stocked in terms of amenities, but there is NO AIR CONDITIONING!! It was 85° in our unit and since there was no breeze outside it took forever to cool down. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but those didn’t help much. Spring or fall might be fine, but during the summer it got VERY hot. Kitchen cabinets need to be updated as they are faded and discolored. The complex is about a mile from the lake, but if you walk that mile, you have no access because the lake is private so you can’t even walk along the trail that follows the edge of the lake.

Rooms were very clean and in good repair. Location was great because it is close to Lake Arrowhead Village. None of the chalets however are equipped with air conditioning which could be problematic in the Summer. Though the chalets are nestled in a forested location, I was not able to walk behind or besides the buildings. As soon as I walked out the front door, the pathway took me straight to the driveway and paved street. And I could not find any trails or areas close to the chalet where I could walk under a tree or on the grass or on any dirt. With no available "backyard" to explore, it removed any kind of feeling like I was out in the woods and enjoying the mountains. That was a let down as I was looking forward to a weekend spent in a forested area.

Enjoyed the resort...it was a family vacation so we played a lot of games and didn't go out to much. We went to a Tubing Park...TIP: They do not take credit cards only cash. $20 bucks an hour...if you wanted to watch, there was an area, but there was no seating...it was free.

The good points about this resort are it is in a lovely location and the units are well-maintained.|The room for improvement is related to the Wi-Fi which is extremely slow. We bought a Amazon fire stick to hook up to the TV and it was basically too slow to stream anything. |Also the two TVs were 36 inch or‘s which are ridiculously small for today’s standards. They really should upgrade those TVs. |They didn’t give us a remote for the entryway gate until we asked for it which bald another trip down to the office to pick it up. That is some thing that they should be providing to visitors when they check in rather than expecting them to get out of their car and punch a code into the gate code box.
